So
Have had an interesting week, the peasants are revolting, as one would expect, but in sleezy underhand ways. Anyway, enough about work and the problems encountered when you are younger, have more experience, have to pull em up, and happen to be of a different sex.
Tuesday night was ace, meeting with mates.
Wednesday I slept.
Thursday I am catching up with my lcing buddies and looking forward to bbc2 night of comedy from 9pm.
What more could a girl want? (apart from lottery win :rotfl:)
Have a late lunch arranged for Saturday and a parcel to pick up from the Delivery Ofis. Things are good
Have been relentlessly good lcingwise but don't seem to be seeing a movement in weight. Been drinking at least 2L in working hours and more later. Am not eating til I'm stuffed. Just don't get it. Am thinking of doing a veg and fruit thing for a week, will still eat eggs and a little cheese and fish. Don't want to do this really, but as I never touch bread, pastry, spuds, rice or pasta (nor fruit at the mo) - nor do I intend to - and am seeing no change, it may be time for something drastic.
Any thoughts?

Well, if you noticed a difference on 400iu it may well work. I'd personally up it to 800iu. It's not going to do any harm and will get a build up in the body quicker. By 8 weeks she should be seeing benefit. Your 400iu was with someone who didn't have her probs so maybe a little more would work better? Also, how long had you been taking it before you noticed a difference? You could drop the dose after the hols? Tis up to you, you're her Mum!

yup true true re not having her probs - i literally noticed it within days really as we had a new sunbed shop open and were giving away free minutes so i took advantage and had a couple of sessions and saw a difference immediately instead of having to build up a base like normal
she tried some fake tan the other day bless her - orange knees hands the lot !! i did chuckle lol:j MFi3 wannabee :j

Aw bless!
I did the same when I tried fake tan for the first (2 years ags - goth etc) Get her some gloves, a good scrubbing mit and a nice moisturiser and instructions! Then see if she pays any attention :rotfl:
You could apply it for her once she's scrubbed shiny a coupla times? If she does still feel the need to take shelter on holiday, at least she knows she can come back with a tan!
I never had a real tan till this year, even though I'd been to India and Sri Lanka a few times :rotfl:
I do find the tinted moisturisers a boon, less need for make up

Have a lovely evening and sweet dreams!

dont think this will work as well because its alot more moist and not as carby in texture. you could give it a go but i would much prefer the cauli crust0 -
I'd like to say thanx to you all on this thread for keeping me on the straight and "not so narrow":rotfl:
I've not eaten very much over the past few days as since Tuesday I've been kinda scared to eat too much. Though am still slurping on the beetroot juice.
I'm finding it difficult to low carb and eat low fat at the same time. And there is only so much vegetables I can eat. I really need to try and take the time to meal plan and/or research some more,
At work yesterday I had to force myself to eat some salad from the dining room. Was sore last night but had to give in through hunger and had a slice of toast and jam and the same for breakfast this morning.
Lunchtime I had the meat from the steak pie from the canteen but without the puff pastry and broccoli and cauli
Was thinking today....ach I'm gonnae give up low carbing but I dont think I could go back to "dieting "..... and counting calories.
So am sticking with you lot,:D
Apologies if Im getting on anyones nerves .......I feel Im turning into one of those women who wears a headscarf and a pinny and who's favourite phrase is " I'm a martyr to my bowels":eek::eek: /gallbladder:rotfl:cheerio hen0 -
