Sweet, 'she' the cats mother is because thats what some people call a female cat, 'she cat', and a male is 'tom cat' but really, a female cat is a 'queen'
I always fry chicken in butter (with a little oil to stop the butter from burning) is soo delish.
I made 2 chillis, one for them, and one lc for me, but i did add some butter beans to mine, (all calculated in) and had with a big dollop of badgers yogurt.. yum
Also made some soft cheese/splenda/cocoa/pecan chocs, not wonderful but are ok, hits the sweet tooth when you need it.
If i disappear in the next few days, fear not.. i'm not under the patio, my lappy cable is breaking, and is only charging intermittently, but i have a new one on its way.0 -
Hmm chicken in butter sounds lovely, never realised why people add olive oilt to butter when frying, to stop the butter burning?
Cauli pizza for me, so I'll be eating about midnight, I love this recipe but it takes me bloomin ages to make it, not sure why!:rotfl:0 -

Yep, another vote for fried chicken in butter:j
I love it.... especially the crispy bits around the edges:)
I usually do this when I make a curry aswell.... melt a load of butter and then add the curry powder, add the chicken then the mushrooms and leek, then 2 mins before finished add 150mls of double cream. It only takes 10mins to make and it is lush (really thick and creamy.... the sort of curry you always avoided on low cal/fat diets..... thanks goodness for low carb:D:D:D)
xIf you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -
Thats curry sounds yummy newish2this, i will try that next week. What do you have it with or do you just eat it on its own?
Finished my salad and will definately be making it again:D Need to find a nice caesar dressing though. I've been very good today, feeling a bit less tired too.
Weighed myself this morning and i'm 8st 10 which is great. Need to lose another 5lbs or so before i go on holiday.
Dragged my Davina McCall dvd out the cupboard so need to try and do something tonight. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Evening Everyone
Its done now't but rain here today and I've been brain numbingly bored. It doesnt happen very often but when it does I have a tendency to overeat and today was no exception with cheese and pork crunch being nibbled on with Mackerel Salad for lunch and Liver and Bacon for tea.I'm stuffed now but not sure how long it will last before I'm prowling for further nibbles.I know its all LC but I dread the scales tomorrow as I have eaten far too much
Sweet I'm still losing my pregnancy podge and after 4 kids in 8yrs it was quite a considerable podge.I've been doing the exercise and yoga on the wii fit to try and tighten my stomach muscles but the jacknife exercise is evil it hurts so much!

Hi lovely people!
Not had chance to catch up proply, my eve meal is ready and I'm off for it.
Still V low carb and as of Sunday been doing sit up and arm work 2ce a day. I aim for success in 2 weeks, with what I'm doing I ought to see some difference. Was out last night with Switzerland mate so had to go, been wrecked all day and need my sleep.
I'm having crumb covered fish and mushy peas. I will not appologise for the high carb loading, I've had b**ger all carbs except cider for ages so will accede to the urge and just do it and enjoy :rotfl:
Then sleep. Just got 4hrs last, and done 9hr shift so I'll av fish in breadcrumbs if I want to:)
Big love, will catch up tomorrow and hopefully make a useful contribution
BTW - Badger - up a tree! That's where I like to be :rotfl:

Hello peeps!
Did some clothes shopping which was not as pleasant as it should have been because I'm still wearing tent like sizes. I ended up buying a floaty skirt -easier to take in when I lose weight, nice top to wear with said skirt, and two pairs of shoes as shoes always fit! I don;t have an after photo as i am still looking the same-ish but may dig out a before photo if I am feeling brave...and others do it too.
Lesley -well done on your weight loss, you look really good."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

Really? I prefer my yoghurt from cows, but each to their own. Aren't Badgers difficult to milk?I'm here everyday.I just dont always log in 'cos I'm supposed to be doing other things. Or if I do log in, I've probably seen a post that [STRIKE]I want to bump my gums about[/STRIKE] requires my wisdom
and I post and go. :rotfl:
I'm not even supposed to be here now but I'm having a tea break.
Where are you supposed to be? I am intregued. (?)
As for the weather...it's piddling down and the skies are grey.
