Sorry to hear about your OH, shocking that you had to film it before they believed you!

OH's dad is the ultimate Mr Trebus wannabe, they have a huge ol manor house that has 8bedrooms, and you can't get IN 5 of them because of all the carp stored in them, old beds, mattresses, ancient 19-oatcake cookers, broken sofas....Why would you keep this pap? Me and OH decided to clean out one of the bedrooms so we could turn it into a toyroom for Keira when we were up and his dad saw us coming down with mouldy (yes literally) cushions to throw out and told us to put them back as he might need them....FOR WHAT? Making his own form of smallpox? Utterly repulsive I tell thee.

OH actually dreads the day his folks die because we are the ones who would need to declutter it, I think we would need to hire the use of the city dump, nevermind a skip!

I'll fight you for the Mr Trebus title.
My uncle's house is soooo bad I refuse to go in. My dad visited him and I could smell the dirt on his clothes when he got home! The house is a complete junk hole and even though he had tidied before my dad arrived there was still no where to sit without moving something off a chair. Freaky!
I'm not Mrs Tidy myself though but at least i can see the floor...just!

I was about to start my 20 min declutter (good article btw sweet) when my friend said she's going for plants, so i went with her.

Dont feel like doing it now.

I will start tho, cos all this Trebus talk is scaring me, i just know thats how i'm gonna end up.
So, out with some of the sentimental tosh i have kept for eons.

Do you kno, twas only 2 years ago that i threw out the bus tickets that i had collected when going to meet my first OH, !!!!!!, we've been divorced since '86 and was at my request..

Went to tesco in my jeans and long tunic-y thing, and saw a colleague who was very complimentary (ooh sexy lady, you've lost weight )
    Was chuffed.
Looking even more forward to Sunday now, as is the day i am off on the pop with the girls.

I've just thrown out the stubs of the plane tickets from when we went on our first holiday abroad. :o

Please someone tell me it's ok to get shot of the glass clown ornament that was given to me when my Gran died. I hate it and it's been under the stairs for years. And my Mum's 'silver' candelabra thing.......has just fallen off the worktop a few inches away from the bin. Wonder if that's her telling me to get the finger out and get shot?

Mazzers can I come and live with you for a few weeks so you can do to me whatever you've done to yourself? :rotfl: You must be chuffed at the compliments. :T

You are welcome to move in, i could do with the company..
We might end up scrapping in the street tho :rotfl:

Is still only 12lb but i firmly beleive in the 'lying scales' theory.

I know now that i will be doing this for ever, or i will become diabetic.
I think maybe that is what keeps me focused.

Btw, the glass clown could become a collectors item so would hang onto that.
    See.. Trebus-itis..

mazzers, yaay at being called a sexy lady :j

That must have felt soooo good!! :D

I didn't get to do my 20 minute de-clutter either, maybe tomorrow

alias, I've got a 'silver' [STRIKE]candlebra[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]candleabra[/STRIKE] thing you stick candles in as well. I used to use it at Christmas but haven't bothered with it for a long time, tis too old-fashioned & the candles never stick up straight anyway!! :rotfl:
