I love the pics of the strawberry tarts.I think I might give them a go but you lot are talking about stewed strawbs. How and what did you stew them in?

Twas mazzers idea & is dead easy!!

Just chop strawberries & add to pan with a dash of water & a level tsp of splenda. Simmer for a few mins, hardly takes any time at all, and that's it, done!!

I let mine cool, unlike mazzers :rotfl: & either use in strawberry tarts or just eat it with a big splodge of cream!! Yummy!!

Yeah, ok, but I'm Tweedle Dee & you're Tweedle Dum!!

    Lol....ok, I don't mind. :rotfl:

Actually got my old size 16 jeans on today & managed to zip them up without using a coat hanger & without lying spreadeagled on the bed!!

    Well done!

Actually though, I was wearing my bather (swimsuit ) underneath, as I was having a 'trying on' session, & the bather definitely smoothed the bumps!! Made me think/remember that M&S used to do a lycra 'body' for wearing under jeans/trews etc?? Does anyone know what I mean??

I had loads of them. :D They were great for hiding a mutitude of sins, lol. Haven't seen them on the go for ages though.

I've got a problem. Been very busy lugging heavy things about all day and clearing out sheds and I'm knackered. Had a run-in with the eldest who, although has disibilities, is perfectly capable of moving things from A to B and picking up rubbish etc. He decided he 'couldn't be bothered' anymore so I lost it with him and basically told him where to go.

After about another half hour, I came in from the garden and he'd started making dinner as his way of saying sorry. His version of dinner consists of frozen smiley faces (... they were on offer and are a good 'once in a while standby') oven chips and frozen pizza. It's only me and him that's eating dinner here tonight as well.

!!!!!! am I meant to do about that?!

I've been good all day as well. The stars are conspiring against me. :(

I started out with good intentions today but got somewhat blindsighted by some choc covered peanuts, I mean they are KINDA low carb, full of nutty goodness ya know.

I have a pair of hold it all in pants, they are rubbish, they smooth me out but make my horrible apron bit of belly look worse! Proper bulges out of your trews, oh and it smooths your muffin, but pushes it up higher, so you have one of those awful below the boob rolls. Worst £15 I ever spent!
  • A couple of years back I bought an all-in-one push-me-pull-you type thing from Figleaves. It was called 'Miraclesuit'. It pulled in the right directions but it took ages and quite an effort to put on.
Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.

Lol, exactly what my two daughters are eating at this very moment!! I feed my kids well!!

I would probably eat it. Was nice of him to make dinner, even though it was to say sorry for being a pain!! Can't remember the last time my kids made me a cup of coffee, never mind a meal!!

You can be good again tomorrow ;)

Had a look on the M&S website & no sign of the 'body' I'm on about. I seem to remember it was like a short-sleeved leotard?? That 'miraclesuit' sounds a bit too complicated for me, Gaye!!

    Ok....I'm back. :o

I feel like ****, I'm tired, lethargic, got headaches.....and I've put on 11lbs. My left upper arm is also kinda sore (bit like the feeling you get when the Doc puts the blood pressure monitor cuff on you). I've been to the Doc about it but he's completely unconcerned and has no idea what it is, but it might be that the nerves in my arm are being pinched (by fat probably ). So I'm feeling all round sh*tty just now. Are you not just sleeping funny? No need to feel !!!! about that.

I was doing well, I dont know why I did this. I felt so much better without the carbs. Why do people push self destruct after a while? :confused:Cos we're rubbish? We all are and we do it cos some bit of us wants to be rubbish. Doesn't mean ALL of us wants to be rubbish. Marshall your forces. Most of you (ie all the bits of you) should not be afraid of failure but want the best for you eventually. Make them get together and stop being afraid of being different. That's the fear.
I'm not even that bothered about the weight (well maybe just a bit)...I just want to feel better again like I did when I was seriously lcing. (Saw someone else wrote 'lcing' and I read it as icing (like icing a cake?) and I've adopted it as my new word to confuse people with....

    'Oh...are you dieting?'

    'No...I'm icing'.

    :rotfl: You wonderful nutter!

What? It made me laugh.:D Me too!

I've not been taking my vits either so I suspect I'm gonna be in for a rough few 'changeover' days. *sob*. Twill be alright, just get back on the wheel. WHEEEEEEEEE!

I will try not to moan...but tbh, I probably will. I have 'that' kind of head on iyswim.
Me too, you've no idea, I just don't get the time I need to moan anymore, seem to have to squash it into your post :)
I cant even join in with the nice recipes, cos I'm gonna have to go back to basics for the next 2 weeks.

Anyway, wish me luck...I'm really gonna need it.
You got my luck, love and thorts to ya babe! Be blessing you every day. You're a fighter, back up to the front. Love and good wishes

    *waves to you all*
Waves to you honey babe! You got so much more goin on that you can't ignore when compared to my life. Givin you love and well wishes :j

Be happy honeywoman! We're here! :T

    Love you
