I have a feeling someone made pancakes from soya flour and water, and little, if anything, else.
BTW, i love spinach and ricotta canneloni.0 -
Think the pancakes we had in Dublin were made with filo pastry??
I've googled to see how you make filo & it's basically plain flour, water & oil but sounds really fiddly to make. Wondered if you could substitute the flour with almond or soya flour but the fiddliness puts me off trying anyway!!
Will just have to go back to Dublin & see if I can find that restaurant!! :rotfl: Btw, is Guinness low-carb?!0 -
I've had the pancakes made with soya flour, egg and water. They were a bit eggy, so would probably have added more water and less egg. Were scrummy though. Would be lovely with a cheesy spinach filling.
Hope the bread turns out well Mazzers. I miss bread but I reaaaaally miss pasta. Looking forward to trying the low carb stuff. Is it internet only? Off to internet surf for it now.

Morning!
Hope you are all well and happy :j
I got the new scales and the sad fact is that I weigh 11st 11lbs. Starting a more intense exercise regime later, may involve sweating  I am also looking into portion control and generally eating a bit less and doing more than sitting down reading for hours every day :rotfl:
Have a few things to shift so will be ebaying again. Get some spends in paypal. Keep me out the fridge / off the couch :rotfl:
Do those fat/muscle/water scales really represent reality? Made a note of my initial 'scores' and hope to see some change over time. Quite MSE as they were half price in Argos £12ish.
will stick with the keto cocktail and low carb, I know it's the way to go.
See you later

Sods law.... i dont have to get up early but cant lie on...
Damn body clock.
Tis rather dull here............. but enough about me
Was thinking about making a pasta salad, could use less pasta as a little goes a long way. Will be great for work.
BTW, the pasta is not to be overcooked, no more than 12 mins, as i think it ruins the special ingredient that stops starch absorption (inulin)
Will be making my bread later.0 -

I'm absolutely starving this morning & made the biiiig mistake of forgetting to get my pork escalope out of the freezer last night!! Blame the fuzzy head!!
So, I'm thinking of having salmon fishcakes for brekkie & the escalope for lunch, bit different but I'm soooooo hungry I don't really care what order my B/L/D comes in today!! :rotfl:
Will post my menu for today later, as I have a feeling it's going to be all to pot!!
Happy days everyone :wave:0 -
