Found HC's post on how to make M&S chicken pesto
The chicken pesto was gorgeous! I laid a breast of chicken on a bed of spinach leaves, and topped it with a mixture of pesto, cream cheese, cream and Parmesan, with a couple of cherry tomatoes flung in too. Slices of mozzarella on top and baked it for about 40 minutes. I think it was nicer that the M&S version because I was more generous with the pesto paste and mozzarella.
Btw, where has HC disappeared to??0 -

D'you know, i wondered that but was scared to ask incase she had said she was going away and i had forgotten, thus confirming the 'losing of the marbles'
Lost my glasses in work yesterday and need them for repairs so i searched everywhere, emptied bins, accused colleagues of 'hiding them' etc, then found them tucked down my bra (so i wouldnt lose them)0 -
Have been avoiding getting one of those 'old spinster cords' :rotfl:

Maybe not..0 -
Ahhhh it's such a nice day today, was yesterday too so I went up to my mums as DD can rampage with all the other kids, where as round mine the kids are more likely to punch you and steal your shoes!
Really have to get housework done though so the park will have to wait, boooo!
B/L - 2 pork & herb sausages, 3 rashers bacon, 2 poached egg and splodge of ketchup.
D - Probably some sort of savoury mince with cauliflower.
No idea what snacks I'll have, not got much in! Maybe some sort of tuna and cheese concoction.0 -
how does everyone have time to have such nice breakfasts?
i cant get up early enough to cook anything like that.
have some catherdral city cheese 50g pack from tesco, it tastes so good!!0 -
another good day - ie no weight gain!!
re breakfasts - i tend to cook extra stuff for tea etc and aim to have left overs so that i can zap it in the microwave for breakfast & take in for packed lunches. microwaved pan-cooked scrambled eggs are much nicer than scrambled eggs cooked in the microwavetc. My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg

Have never bothered with a dressing, my Mum never used it & I suppose I have just carried on not using it
I like the sound of what you do, think that is the way to go to make it more palatable!!
I like caeser salad dressing - the fresh ones are nicest and v low carb. waitrose is the best. sainsbury's is a good second. full fat version not low fat of course. yum yum.
Also fallen in love with "chop salad" from a Jamie book. (basically your normal salad but all mixed up and chopped up small)My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg

I am loving my scales!! Before I started this a few days ago, my scales were showing me at 80kg (I had gotten lower but had a friend up for the weekend and kinda went crazy on food and booze, oops) jumped on them and they are saying I'm, 76.9, what's that about 12stone? Lovely jubbly though! I'll wait till Thurs to see what it is officially.
Making things the night before if you have to dash to work is probably easiest, you don't even have to stick to breakfast foods, I'd easily eat leftover curry for my brekkie.0 -
