Meant to say, think my bad mood is low-carb related

    Struggling again today :(

Had my coronation chicken salad for lunch & really enjoyed the chicken but the salad I had to force down. Just didn't want it. _pale_

Tbh I'm worried that I'm going to get like I was before, when even the thought of anything low-carb turned my stomach :(

Have got the house to myself for an hour so I'm going to look at recipes, read my IPD book for inspiration & put some loud 'feel good' music on to see if that helps.

Sweet, you made me laugh :rotfl:
    Glad its not just me.

Am feeling a little better as i have just glugged a pint of cider and have my wine chilling.
Have also ordered 'wheat gluten' to make proper-ish bread, i have to have some toast in the mornings and thats all there is to it, or i'm not gonna do this long term, and i have to!!
Ordered some davinci syrups too, cherry, lime and caramel.

Unfortunately, the 'welsh two' are back icon8.gif

Have cleaned the bathroom, one down, five to go icon9.gif maybe four, my room can wait til Wed.

They can do their own rooms and one is about to do dishes while the other hoovers the stairs.. hehe they dont know it yet tho.

Ooh ooh, they are quite sheepish, they obviously know i mean business.

Youngest is hoovering as we speak and middle one has said 'i'm gonna do the garden, i've just paid a tenner for evergreen'.

Gawd, did swine flu kill me after all and i think i'm still alive

Both Mazzers and Sweet in a bad mood? Heeeeeeeelp!
I'm surprisingly cheery today (possibly because i'm full of food, mmm)
Just found an old slimming world recipe for pastry-less quiche, so will try to work out the carb figures. Used to make it in the microwave so a nice easy snack. Also found a Scan Bran choc cake recipe but think this will be too carby. Sigh.

Sweet, my ideal would be to look like catherine Zeta jones or possibly Scarlet Johansson. Neither acheivable though. Have always had a curvy figure so hope to be a bit more hourglass when the weight has escaped. At the moment the hourglass has too much sand at the bottom!

    So far meals:

    Brekkie: strawberries, splenda
Lunch: salad & seeds. (and almonds for a snack)
    2 squares dark choc
Dinner; -either veggie frittata or something else with eggs.
    melon.

Was given a biiig box of Ferrero Rocher ("with this FR you are really spoiling us...!"-showing my age?) which OH is making his way through while I pretend chocolate doesn't exist.

I think you need to find some more recipes and give your low carb usual ones a break for a while. You'll probably be able to go back to them soon but you need a bit of a change. Could you cook some of Mercy's recipes and then freeze them so you can whip one out (ooh er!) when you are feeling peckish but too tired to cook? Try something completely different that you wouldn't normally try to give your taste buds a kick start? You may even find this helps with the weightloss and I find if i eat too much of the same thing my body rebels and refuses to lose weight. Maybe we could all give you a recipe that you have to try if you are feeling adventurous! If you lived nearer I could pop something round but i live in Dorset! :p

Dont know if i could let him eat all the ferrero's.

Oh well, my hour to myself didn't happen  Hubby & daughter had just left the house & my niece turned up unexpectedly!! Twas nice to see her but it meant I didn't get to look through recipes and I had to turn my music down!! :rotfl:

It was funny because she was telling me about her diet - she's sort of doing Slimming World & it was all 'I can eat this on red days but not on green days' and then vice versa!! Also said she'd missed out on a lovely Sunday roast today with her in-laws-to-be because they add butter to their vegetables & make 'fatty' gravy with the meat juices!! I just smiled smugly to myself!! :rotfl:

marrow, I think my body is starting to [STRIKE]repel[/STRIKE] rebel!! It's mostly lunches I'm starting to struggle with. I always get the same salad (Tesco value babyleaf) & today I just didn't want it _pale_ Would have been lovely to have had my coronation chicken in a big crusty baguette, but that's another story!!

So if anyone does have any lunch ideas, preferably with some sort of greenery, please post them :o

    Ta muchly!! :D

Ps. I could kill for a Ferrero Rocher now!!

The skin just looks a bit wrinkly when I wear a bad fitting bra, but no fear, wonderbra makes them look fabaroonie.

Well I couldn't resist the bad food, I suck! I've eaten loads of pick n mix, 4 mini gingerbread men and 5 of OH's chips.

The gingerbread men got devoured in the car on the way home as I felt like poop, probably jealousy as I declined OH's mums chicken fried rice with malaysian curry, and had overcooked lamb chops instead.

Tomorrow is a new day, and all that gubbins.

I really don't think I could do this diet for life, like a lot of people do. Imagine not getting a chocolate bar again because they have 37g of carb, that's torturous! Plus you'd look a bit of a weirdo ordering a bacon and egg buttie, oh hi can i have that, but no bap, ta!

Oops, just burnt my courgette slices as too busy posting on here!!

Will still be eating them, have decided to add cream & grated cheese to them instead of making it separately - cheesy courgettes!! :D

Off to have my dinner now - I'm starving!!

Have noticed that peeps here dont seem to cook a sunday roast

Is so delish and filling and lc.
Lots of meat, cauli, cabbage, spoonful of peas/ carrots for a bit of colour and
i use a 1/4 of a pkt of schwartz roast chicken gravy with lots of the meat fat/ juices so is quite lc.

Buttons, dont think about forever, get to ideal weight and you should be able to increase carbs, plus you will then be able to treat yourself occasonally but get back to lc then.
Or maybe you can relax on weekends but be strict during the week.
    Thats my plan anyhoo.
Jeez, i just 'demanded' a cuppa and i'm amazed that i've just been brought one.
    Whats that all about
    :rotfl:
