Lol mazzers, you do find some good pics. :rotfl:
I've just sitting here mulling over whether you can put some crushed nuts in an omelette. I'm very much the type of person that likes 'crunch' iyswim. I think maybe that's what I miss most with biscuits/crisps/toast etc. Most of what I've been eating lc wise doesn't have crunch. (I did try the pork scratching thing but it made me sick.)
My eldest is going off to his Dad's tonight for a couple of days or so, so the atmosphere (and therefore my mood) should be a bit lighter around here so I think I'll try again today. *Says she casually so no pressure, lol*Herman - MP for all!0 -
Btw...good luck to youngest mazzers, let us know how he gets on?

Huh, i actually suggested to him that when my shares come out in Feb, we all go on holiday for a week, including the eldest.. gulp, and my 18year old nephew.
Hah, were only talking for half an hour and ended up arguing with him, I think a week together is out of the question

Hey ladies! Check out the recipe list. There's 'flax cracker', 'sesame crackers' and 'flax cracker type thing' on there.
The sesame crackers are good and you can blitz up or finely chop nuts and seeds as part of the sesame bit. Taste great! will keep in airtight container.
Flax cracker type thing is like flat wholemeal cracker, v tasy and crisp if done long enough. Takes a couple o mins and you're tucking in
I have also successfully made biscuits using sesame cracker without sesame seeds and with a little sweetener and or cocoa.
Get cooking for your crunch!

Very chewy and crunchy i think, from H&B.
Cant remember the name, but are lowish carb. Sazzy and Gilly liked them,
maybe she can give you the name.
LOL I nicknamed them compressed hamster bedding partly because I couldn't think what else they tasted like.... not that I'm in the habit of eating hamster bedding, you understand:o :rotfl: and partly coz I could never remember the actual name of them.
But I just had a quick shifty for you on google, Alias, and this be them: GG Bran Scandinavian Crisp Bread. Slightly random, but I remember now - they have the two little white chefs hats on the front of the packet:) Do bear in mind tho they are basically just fibre and nowt else - hence 'hamster bedding' - so don't eat too many in one go:D
I only ever saw them in branches of Holland & Barrett. About a quid a pack. I'm like you Alias - I really miss crispy, crunchy stuff:o
Quick hi to everyone, hope everyone's ok. :hello: My tummy's been a bit out of sorts recently; not really sure why, but as a result I've gone right off meat:rolleyes: Just can't face it at the mo. Funny thing is I ate no red or white meat from the age of 18 until about two years ago... maybe my body is rebelling again lol. Oh well. No good stressing about it, life's too short, innit.
Gilly Badger's lovely mum is coming to stay with us for the weekend, she'll be arriving later today, so if I don't get a chance to pop back, have a good weekend everyone
Much love to all,
