Morning all. Forgot to say hi yesterday to the newbies and the returning old newbies iyswim? :rotfl:

I was good all day yesterday till OH brough me in a tub of mascarpone ice cream last night. Stupid man. I appreciate the thought but I'm having a hard enough time as it is without him making it worse. And yes, I ate half of it.

Mazzers you know you have your eating under control when you start complaining about food. ;):rotfl: Hope you never left them a tip. Unless it was 'learn to cook'. ;):D

Morning all, Leslie you are right, i will never go back there.
It has a great reputation, the steaks are well known, and if the boys weren't with me i'd have complained.
My steak (sirloin) was a bit fatty and chewy, my son said his was only ok, and other son had cod and new pots which was nice.
But for two 8oz steaks and a cod, a pint of carling, a pint of strongbow and a pint of coke
it was £50... in a pub  Also, when do you ever get broccoli, cauli and carrots with steak eh... where was the onion rings, the peas and the salad?? :rotfl:

Luckily i was in a good mood :D

mazzers, I think you are mistaking me for someone who eats carbs - I don't do that when I'm low-carbing!! :rotfl:

Shame about the meal, I wouldn't have complained either :o Infact, probably would have said 'oh, it was lovely, thanks' if the waitress had asked if I had enjoyed it!! Why do we do that?!

alias, you forgot to say hi to me as well

Hmmmmmm, have never had marscapone ice-cream, I know you had to force that half a tub down, you didn't want to make OH feel bad, I would have done the same!! :rotfl:

Lesley, you are an early bird!! Well done on the lb loss. I must admit, I crept on the scales this morning even though I vowed I wouldn't  Twas ok though because the batteries were dead so I'm still none the wiser if I'm up, down, or indifferent!!

    Good morning all :hello:

    My menu for today

B - pork escalope, 3 chipolata pork sausages, buttery scrambled egg
L - some kind of salad
    D - burgers with broc/cauli mash and/or cheesy leeks

Had strawberries & cream before breakfast as I didn't end up having them last night (had wine & salted peanuts instead ;))

Hope everyone has a good day today, I'm off to the library this morning so will see you all laters

Morning all. I am determined that today will be a total no-chocolate day. I'm in quite a good mood - probably because the scales are 0.9lb less than yesterday (must stop the numbers affecting my mood so much).
    Catch up with y'all later
    My name is Paula and I am a low carber :kiss: 1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg :kiss: (Atkins/IPD) 24/1/13 - 69kg! Yikes!:cry::cry:

I was interviewing lodgers last night, which I love doing! Have narrowed it down to two but still having trouble choosing...

    Yesterday's menu:
    - Boots blackcurrant yoghurt (not really happy with this but I had a craving for yoghurt and this was the lowest-carb I could find. Why can't you just buy it plain??)
    - Fresh pineapple, plain seeds and olives
    - Quorn and cashew stirfry with curry mush (the sauce didn't microwave well)
    - Cadbury's caramel (I know, I know! But I had a bit of "nervous hunger" after giving my presentation, and it was left over from the ones I'd given away)
    - Starbucks Chai tea latte (small) - so I could get the free voucher in this weeks MStips
    - Dark chilli chocolate

    Hello!

    Yesterdays food
    keto cocktail and supplements
    B - boiled egg, cheese
    snack - sml pkt scratchings
    L - ham, cheese, salad
D - ham, brie, toms with lettuce leaves buttered with cream cheese. Made 'wraps'

supper - 4 or 5 pieces of coco candy, peanut butter in this batch, tasty :) (only max 1/2g carb in each piece.)

Really enjoying lettuce wraps, the ham and brie went so well with cream cheese :) Bit of a finger buffet as got sucked into book yesterday, that's why I disappeared. Finished it now and going to try not to start the next till Saturday. Don't fancy my chances :rotfl:

Lovely day here, have a good one!

Tis a quiet day on here, it's famine or feast on this thread at times!! :rotfl:

Been to the Library & made sure I walked the long way round to get a bit of fresh air/exercise - had the 'been dragged through a hedge backwards' look when I got home though as it (the weather ) is still quite windy here.

Just had tuna & spring onion mayo salad for my lunch & very nice it was too.

Think I'll go & cut the grass now before the kids get home from school, even though I feel like nodding off in the sun tbh, this low-carb makes me sooooo tired sometimes.
