Daska - superstar :T:T I shall try the chicken/beef slices for lasagne, one of my favourite meals :A
Sheila - sorry, I meant to say - glad you had a nice holiday, and sorry to hear about your cramps/sciatica (and wind) I have the attention span of a gnat0 -
it's so nice to be appreciated :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
as you may have gathered the last couple of months have been a bit of a grind (and not enough grind if you get my gist) but everything is on the up at the moment: DS2 has a new, more experienced OT, a fabulous 1:1, a fun teacher, a solicitor to help with the appeal; His had has his first paid gig in two weeks time and several more lined up after that; I'm pain free (other than wheat/ gluten related) for the first time in months; DSD is finally growing up (16 going on 6 until a couple of months ago); DS1 is coming to visit at half term and I may have somewhere to move to
It's great to hear how well things are going for you! You put a positive spin on everything anyway but to see it all laid out there is aceCos it really is positive! Nice one my lovely woman!
You never fail in adding a good thing to discussion and it is appreciated. Your wealth of info and level head must be tapped!
LOL that sounds so wrong. :rotfl:
Big love supagirlie! X

daska - so pleased that things are on the up, makes the gluten thing more bearable.
Mercy - sounds like you are on a roll :rotfl:
Gray Malkin - now that I am back to low carb properly my stomach is fine. It just reinforces that I need to do it
Sciatica is painful but probably due to exercising wrongly and not warming up first. It should go eventually but am walking gingerly so may have to stop the uphill climbs until it settles. Sorry to moan.:o
Off to bed soon to read so have a good night and sweet dreams0 -

Good luck Sistercas. It will all turn out ok. You will see. x
Thanks to all who have posted some good tips especially the corgettes that can be used as spag. Brilliant. This is why I love this thread.
All good this end. Had fish last night. For lunch today, or brunch.... we are having one of my faves! Gammon, eggs and mushrooms. Can't wait for the old man to wake up so we can eat that!
Then tonight, we will have spinnach and lambs liver curry.
Off topic stuff:
Busy day today. Cleaning house. Now that i'll be working - week-ends will be productive. First load of washing already on line. Washed at 30 degrees to save on electricity! ha ha. Still need to be careful till I get money in bank. Got 50 pounds worth of vouchers through post for switching gas & elec. chuffed to bits. We will probably spend in iceland and get some teabags etc. stock up.
Need to get work wardrobe sorted. Lots of my blouses are too big now! Have also been on ebay and am bidding on a couple of blouses for work. wont spend more than 3 pounds on each. I know I sound tight, but I will put a large proportion of wages into bank to save.. you never know when I will be out of work again and the stress of having to sell treasured posessions just to live, is too stressful.0 -

By Monday you'll be partying.:D
Seriously though, you will feel better about it all soon.
When my middle one left home, his sister was getting his room so we had to clear out his stuff. It felt horrible, almost like he had died. I was in floods.
Two days later I was happy again as I'd then got to thinking about no more late nights, no smelly football kit etc etc. :rotfl:
Get yourself a goldfish.
Chin up. :grouphug:Herman - MP for all!0
