Thanks Mercy & Ted on the cod liver oil/Vit D info. :T
I used to [STRIKE]be forced to[/STRIKE] take cod liver oil capsules when I was a nipper - my Mum was very sneaky - I used to find these little oily balls floating in my bowl of cornflakes or cup of milk _pale_ - quite funny when I think of it now but it wasn't at the time!! :rotfl:
Btw, we used to have a 'diabetic' cat - at least she was diagnosed with diabetes  but now not so sure. Her symptoms were weight loss (food just went straight through her) & drinking loads of water. We had to give her insulin injections but sometimes she would go a bit weird, walking around confused, it wasn't nice to see. Anyway, we stopped giving her the injections & when we took her back to see the Vet she said it probably hadn't been diabetes in the first place?? Was then diagnosed with a Thyroid problem. Never did find out for definite what it was though.
mazzers, hope you managed to get a decent sleep, too many things buzzing around in your mind by the sounds of it.
alias, I'm fine today, thanks for asking. Lol at your post, hope you get away with the netbook!! Keep posting so that we know you did!!
Welcome michele, I always feel a bit 'spaced out' for a couple of days when re-starting low-carb, it's not a nice feeling but it doesn't last long.

Hello all!
Well GP has prescribed even more meds (and referral to Gynae -eek ) However okayed the low carb diet as long as I take care to eat little and often to keep the old sugar level ok. Blood pressure was high still but ok.
No carb cravings today (yet) -popping out to town later so hope to avoid the lure of the fast food fairies...Mmmmm.
