What caused the [STRIKE]madness[/STRIKE] cravings to strike do you think??
Thing TOTM must be approaching... bad news for Friday! (skin-tight grey leggings don't sound like such a good idea any more...). I'm so good so much of the time, but occasionally that need for chocolate just strikes!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Mercy, how is your garden looking?? My soil is like clay, claggy in the Autumn/Winter & sets like concrete in the Spring/Summer. Broke my dibby thing when I was putting bulbs in last year & I have ignored it ever since!!0

Well now.. that Badger, she has made me wanna join her on the road to nowhere,
so i had half an apple turnover that i bought my boy as a treat but he wanted choccy pud instead.
I knew it would only end up in the bin, so i had to have a bit, threw the other half tho before i had chance to think, there is another one, but he will have that later he promised me:cool:
I am now having a bottle of oakey chardonnay, i do not intend to stop at one glass, its the bottle for me as i haven't indulged for ages and i need it, and it's bloody lush.
So it's some soppy music and my wine tonight.. Yay0 -
Did anyone watch 'Desperately Hungry Housewives' last night?? It was a programme about eating disorders in older women. I'm off to watch it on catch-up so will see you all later :wave:0

The triffid is doing stupendous things! Not only has it grown 3 fat lower leafs but a middle shoot which is now about 4ft tall! All since beginning of MarchToday it's massive (two cupped hands size) bud has broken to reveal lots of fluffy looking deep raspberry coloured flower! I am over the moon! Wana know what it'll do next :j
Rest of garden is still very funereal, but in a vibrant 'at 'em' kind of way. Not planted the outside things I got at weekend yet but they're all looking good for a nice raining on
With clay you have to work. Dig deeper than you want for plants and put in some rocks/sand/bits of broken crockery (believe mazzers can supply :rotfl:) And then some regular soil or compost, before planting. Gotta give the babies a chanceThe clay you remove can be fashioned into images of your wildest dreams. Keep it simple, say a prayer then bury it somewhere quiet. You never know:) and it can pass a pleasant 1/2 hour.
Anyway, have remove the cat !!!!!! from the back yard, Bleached and rinsed the ground - all in readyness for the least glimpse of summer this weekend. Realise the cat stuff removal and another rinse will be necessary by saturday, but at least I've got ahead:) Took out all the weeds too. looks a bit bare now :rotfl:
Done dishwasher, tidying and making good.
Off to iron work jeans, they're rubbish denim and have got baggy again, and then settle down with my book.
Big love to all!

Mercy, your garden sounds lovely.
Post some piccies when its in bloom plz.
I'm a fair weather gardener only i'm afraid.
But i do like it at least looking tidy, and actually enjoy it, but there aways seems to be other things to do..... dishes usually.
I particularly like white flowers.
But pink lillies are one of my all time faves, along with tulips.0 -

I watched that eating disorder programme tonight & it was really quite sad in places, I could kind of relate to one or two of them, even though I don't & have never had an eating disorder. Just disorderly eatingWorth watching on catch-up if you have it.
Well, I decided to have a drink tonight, keep you all company
Btw, no sign of alias tonight, maybe we should be checking the patio tomorrow!!0
