Hope you managed to keep away from those fast food fairies - they have been known to lure me in occasionally

I heard you go dancing with them :rotfl:

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

I had the same problem when flying to Spain last year, and as i had outstanding tests was even more expensive cos results are unconfirmed, the insurance was more expensive than the holiday.
Did it online in the end, (one question answers, which made it easier) and was much much cheaper, wasn't convinced i was covered though.
    It's a complete nightmare isn't it:mad:
All inurance is a con though, if they can riggle out of it they will:mad:
They've all said that in 6 months it will be much cheaper but I'm sure there will be another excuse by then:rolleyes:
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

    My way is Atkins;)

You have probably already seen this, but there is info on this site for 'insurance cover for those with pre-existing medical conditions'

No, I hadn't seen this sweet! Thank you so much:D
I actually got a list of companies from the British Heart Foundation as I was really stuck for companies.

I tried all those companies, they are still expensive.

Just try filling an online questionaire, i was amazed. declared all my conditions and was cheaper than my friends who only have high BP and i was post heart attack awaiting an echocardiogram.

Went from approx £150 ish to about £14.. honestly
Thats why i said i wasnt sure i was actually covered.. lol
  • I looked at insurance for my Dad post triple heart bypass, angioplasty, brain aneurysm, diabetes & any other ailment you care to mention!! (We're a healthy family ) Plus he's 70 years old. The quotes were prohibitively expensive as expected!! He was prepared to go on holiday uninsured but we weren't prepared to let him!! :rotfl:

newish, I could always go in your hubby's place if you find he's too expensive to insure!! :D

  • Badger, was that it or is there another installment to come?! :rotfl:

What caused the [STRIKE]madness[/STRIKE] cravings to strike do you think??
