Yeah. Tell them I'm fat again. :rotfl:

I do miss talking with the lot of you, we used to have a right good laugh in amongst the food angst. :D

I wish I could get my head back in the right place to start eating properly again and I'd hang around here, as I liked you lot (don't let it go to your heads :p:D) but I can't play yet as I'm not there yet iyswim. :o

We can't, our carb faces make it difficult to see everything in the mirror at once as it is

I'd only lower the tone. Then I'd get a row from the serious icers. :D

Don't be silly! There are no serious icers (they're not allowed here anymore :rotfl: Well they are but they just have to button it :D Their unasked for info is no longer welcome :rotfl: It's all by consensus. :o that's why we'll all stay fat :rotfl:)

For regular posters - this is all joking between friends - Gott In Himmel - I feel the need to qualify. That's how jumpy you people have got me. Poo. Not such a nice place as it used to be.

You are crazy and make me smile :rotfl:

Mercy - such praise will go to my head; we all try hard and you have helped me a lot. Thanks so much xx

There are many really great people on this thread, dedicated, informative, funny and it is great to be a part of it.

aliasojo - you will get there when the time is right. If you need support or encouragement then we will try to help. There have been times when we have all felt like giving in, sometimes have like me today when I went out to eat and had an ice cream and a bite of brownie. Whereas before I would have given up, now it is just dust yourself down and try again tomorrow.

    Thanks to you all xx

Now THAT tells us all quite how to deal with it.

Deal with it.:) Nothing has the ability to derail us like ourselves. Let's not let that little bit of us which wants us to fail have the upper hand. Slap it down with a 'tomorrow's another day' AND MEAN IT. We each engineer our future. Let's make it a good one :)

Thanks SHEILA You are really living it low carb and know what it's about. X

You too? My parents came to visit and I succumbed to a slice of fruit cake. :(

Oh well. As you say, there is always tomorrow. :)

    Congratulations Sheila :j:beer::j:beer::j

Have got myself to within winking distance of 14stone, just 1lb to go to hit my end of term target. And I've got new trousers, 6 weeks pretty much stalled made it clear that washing jeans overnight was a false economy! Not to mention a right pain in the fundament given that I have continence problems. I know from my belt tightening that I was losing inches slowly but, not having measured my vital statistics before I started it's nice to see the scales showing some movement. Can't wait to get to the point that I can dig out what I have left from my size 14s. :)

Out and about I find the easiest snack is a lump of cheese and for sit downs I opt for a green salad with some kind protein source. If I get stuck in a coffee bar I'll ask for lots of cream in my coffee - which seems to count as the equivalent of cake in most minds LOL.

And I had cake on Thursday, and rice, and best part of a bottle of wine, best to enjoy it and just start again with the next meal...

Today is my weigh in day. I've lost 2lb :j The scales are, finally moving in the right direction. This also proves I have found the right level of carbs for weight loss. I'm quite happy to lose between 1-2lbs a week as they say it stays off better if you lose it slowly. Just hope it continues. I've also lost 0.5" off my bust so am losing inches as well as llbs. Makes me feel so much better. OH has been doing SW and has lost over a stone, last night he gave an indication of how much he weighs now. I'm ashamed to say I weigh more than him and want to rectify that asap.

Well done Sheila at the hospital & well done Daska for the weight loss.
