Ah well, it's not the best, I admit. And if you're not in tuna with me, then it's harder. But you can have a whale of a time thinking these up. Don't need to be a brain sturgeon to come up with dreadful fishy puns.
Hahahahaha!
I nearly fished myself laughing at that :rotfl:

OMG, that will be gorgeous. Love lamb and always cook mine slowly, falls of the bone then. Shoulder has gone quite expensive now tho and it used to be quite cheap.
Gotta have lamb Sunday now..
Was really gorgeous. Not cooked it before, as was sure family would complain at how fatty it was. (They didn't; it was like lamb shank.). Will def make again.
Cost £6.32 and fed 4 greedy people plus a modest leftover portion to put in freezer for me, so not too bad.
Similarly, am tempted to try pork belly. Would I cook it the same, i.e. long and slow? Not done it before.
BTW, shoulder of pork still half price at Sainsbury's. I have two in freezer.0 -

Fantastic. Cheered me right up.
I hate celery too (even thinking about the smell is making me grimace) but I have found that the celery taste disappears from celeriac when it is totally cooked though like celery does.
I'm going to try oven roasted baby fennel tomorrow and hope its not too liquorice/aniseedy - don't like those flavours either but trying to get out of a veg rut.My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg

For all the coconut lovers out there.. Can you tell me if the block of creamed coconut is what you've been referring to when you say you eat it by the spoonful, cos i always used to use it and have some in fridge and is yummy, got 3.2g carbs in a 50g sachet.
Also for the non cooks out there, if you make a bacon cheese n leek omelette (or whatever) they keep fine in fridge for couple days and warm up lovely in micro, good emergency food.0
