I buy from their shop all the time! The meat is wonderful and really reasonable too.

The sausages are absolutely gorgeous :)

Morning! Just off to work, but rushing in to say that although the sausages are lovely :) they're not that low carb as they contain rusks:(

Back from Jersey early (husband did his back in :() so just catching up.

I'm always looking for good meat suppliers so looked at their website. Sorry to be negative but their sausages are only 65% meat and FULL of fillers and additives, the burgers too.

On the omelette theme, I am quite keen on mushroom, onion and garlic with dollops of brie put on to melt when it goes under the grill for the final few mins. Yummy.

    Hi all.

Ate some unmentionable stuff yesterday. Not going to mention that again.

Back on the straight and narrow today. Chicken for breakfast, hot smoked salmon for lunch and anybody's guess for dinner...

Hi Dundeedoll! Are you sticking with the low carb option? You are right, do one or the other, they don't mix well. I find I lose better on Dukan, which I'm in denial about, lol, hence I joined the lc thread. I don't know if you have a smartphone, but I downloaded an Atkins app, which helps count your carbs. I found that useful.

Tomatoes are allowed although they do have natural sugars, so just one to be aware of.

If its lunches you're stuck with, why not try a frittata or crustless quiche? Can be done on the hob in a big frying pan, or oven in a silicone cake tin. I often make breakfast frittata, with some chopped low carb sausage, some turkey rashers, and a bit of mushroom or whatever. I cut mine into cubes and drop in a tub, lovely dipped in mayo or reduced sugar ketchup...

Greetings ! Hope you are all well :) xx It's the usual post-Bank Holiday story here of sunshine !

    KitKat00 hello and welcome :D

I worked as a nanny to a couple of Jewish families and picked up the Rakusens matzo crackers habit. They are more-ish and Rakusens do a 99% fat free cracker especially for dieters. I emailed Rakusens when I first started low carbing and the reply told me that unfortunately none of their crackers are suitable for low carbing. :( The carbs per serving on the packet info you pasted is 22g carbs per serving which is more than the daily carb allowance for some people.

A cherry tomato has around 1g carb, a large tomato around 6g, they aren't really carby. Sun-dried tomatoes are really really carby though.

I don't buy burgers or sausages or bacon or any ham with additives in now but that's my choice. High meat content sausages are certainly fine for low carbing and sausages generally taste yummy and I miss them.

murphydog999 sorry your hols were cut short, hope your OH is better soon !
