    Morning all :)
Just woke and feel very 'empty' not particularly hungry tho, will have to weigh out of curiosity.
If i do lose weight, i will change my eating window as 4-9 doesn't really suit me.

Off to get ready for work, my last day for 3 months as i am off elsewhere to train :j could do with a break!
    Be good peeps..

    Morning peeps

no fasting for me today, i shall be doing this one day per week and i shall be choosing a different day each week too so that my bod doesn't get into a routine. I shall run this alongside the one day per week eating a higher carb diet too as this seems to have helped me along this week. I`m going to try to run the higher carb day before the fasting day and choose my day off as i think that is the best plan. My days off vary so that should do the trick.

Just eaten brekkie of buttered scramblies with mushrooms and bacon, i wasn't hungry but i'm off to take Dad to the supermarket and if i eat before i go then i don't throw as much into the trolley :D

This is officially day one of DH`s new woe, i actually started last night and we had buttered cabbage, swede chips and chicken stuffed with mozarella and wrapped in bacon. DH said that he actually preferred the swede chips to real ones

This morning i caught him reaching for the loaf that he made in the BM overnight :naughty:
I took it off him as he was planning toast for brekkie and sandwiches for dinner so i made the same brekkie for him as me and made him his sandwiches - 4 slices of lc bread with butter, mayo and cheese. I also gave him half a bag of pistachios to take with him as a snack but he forgot to take them - alongside his glasses too so he won't be having a good day without them. I also gave him his vitamins and he pulled a face :rotfl:
Honestly atm its like feeding a small child but i'm hoping that he will feel better in the next few days and start to do this on his own.

He needed something sweet after tea last night so we both had meringue with berries and double cream, i could have done without the meringue but had some anyway. I also had a can of guinness and a glass of beer as this was my cheat day following my fasting day but this morning the scales have stayed the same :j

I`m hoping for at least another pound loss by midweek so fingers crossed :D

Best move my bum as i`m running a bit late now.

Mazzers - enjoy your last day :D

Have a great Saturday everyone

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

dont think i will do IF for a week at least

sausages and buttered cabbage for dinner

sunny you have done well to get Dh on side with lcing , my Dh could do with losing some weight , but he shows no interest at all and if i give him healthy meals he nibbles on other stuff , (ive just found a tin of roses in the boot of his car , half of them gone  )

    Hann hope you're feeling better

Scottishf, i did reply, like SD tho, mine just says vital wheat gluten so assume its the same thing.

    Sistercas... I did 17 hrs :D
    11pm til 4pm
Was quite easy, even with peeps scoffing chips in the canteen, like you, i was hungry but it passed and i was very energetic.. could've gone longer tbh. but had to have break at 4pm or wait til 7.30 and thought that was a bit long.
Didnt have a very healthy meal, had fish n chips and a cuppa, at 8pm had two chicken legs and an apple, but still not a lot of calories in one day (still unsure if you can have 1 meal plus a snack)
Just water now til 4pm tomorrow and must try to eat a healthier meal
Thanks :-) I must've missed your last response

I've just treated myself to prawn cakes, Nigella's recipe with far less flour. (Yes evil white flour!!). Very delicious dipped in mayo. I'm quite full right now. Slightly high in carbs especially for induction but needed something a little different tonight. http://www.nigella.com/recipes/view/prawn-cakes-1945

Perhaps you're trying to suggest that I could have searched myself..

    Woof Woof......((((wags tail)))) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I did a search about it as like you I too thought that screw tops were a sign of cheap plonk, and when I post a link, but don't actually know the site I'm selecting and linking to, I also put in the link to the main search page I found the link on...in case anyone is interested; first links, or the ones I select, aren't always the best, it depends on the subject!!!!

    WARNING ...Thread waylaying!!

    @mazzers and hannoja

    Re: the search engine.

I became REALLY concerned about all the google privacy stuff, so I searched around for an alternativev, excluding yahoo and bing because I think that they have/will have the same privacy isssues, if not now, then at some point in the near future!!! At first I used DuckDuckGo ( http://duckduckgo.com/ ), which is good but I'd become used to the google-way of searching IYKWIM. I then found Ixquick ( https://www.ixquick.com/do/search), which, when you do a search on it, tells you about it's sister site Startpage (https://startpage.com/ ), which is Ixquick, but with google anonymous search combined!!

    So far, so good!

Thread waylaying over, back to LCing!!

Evening all, fell asleep on sofa again

I did weigh.. 2lbs lost but it's only been 2 days.. dunno what i was expecting :D

Did 17 hrs today as had to go for break at 3pm, again, was quite easy.. not home til 7.30pm and had another meal but didnt feel that hungry til i started eating but only had til 8 til the 'window' closed so had something quick.
I think i'm finding out what proper hunger is, as once satisfied i was quite happy, and usually i want to nibble all night.
I hope i can keep it up!!
Tomorrow will be the tester for me.. nothing now til 3pm, and no work to distract me

Had a nice last day and dont know if i will be going back, but the option is there if i want to :)

SD, i have to try those swede chips :)

Hope that your chest is better today. Why do you have to have repeat blood tests, just to be sure? You probably mentioned it earlier but I didn't pick up on it?

Thanks Sheila. It's not better but I think I'm just making a mountain out of a molehill, since it's so long since I was last ill. Hehe. Got through w*rk okay, though suffered when in warm, stuffy environments and was struggling towards the end of the day. Thought I'd have to have today off (whole chorus of frogs in my throat!), but had brekkie, cuppa and a good cough and feeling better. Visit to the loo* perked me up too :p

I went as I had a kidney infection - oh.. there's the last time I was ill! - which antibiotics cleared up quick, but she (Dr) tested my blood and found raised calcium, which can be worrying (the big C apparently). More tests satisifed her that it's nothing like that, but although calcium has dropped it's still a bit higher than it should be, so she wants to test again to check it.. Asked me to stay off the multi. vits. and minerals till then.

    Eep, short of time. Yesterday:

    B: 2 little slices lc bread, 1 frankie (~2g)
L: Handful of cubed cheese, ~7 Brazils, 4 almonds, peperami (nibble over a few hours really) (~3g?)
T: Bowl full of nice bolognaise OH made. (err... ~10g..?)

O: Tea, coffee, s/f gum, ~4 pints water, couple s/f strepsils, 1 glass red wine, 2 squares dark choc. (~6g?)

    Total carbs: ~21g..?

    Exercise: N/A

Well done on the fasting Maz, Sunny, Cas and anyone else who's doing it.
Good luck with it today Mazz!! :D

*sorry for highlighting that: want to keep tabs on my 'frequency'

    Happy day peeps! :)

must say ive been ok so far this time ;)

weigh day today and ive lost 2.8lbs :j i had a sneaky weigh in on wednesday and had lost half a lb so over 2lbs has come off after i did 2 IFs) dont know if its a coincidence though but i'm willing to test it out again .:D

i think as sunny said earlier , maybe its good to shake up your eating pattern so the body cant get used to whats happening, eating at different times , some fat some carb meals i think ill try it anyway

DH's birthday tomorrow , so we are going out for a meal today, not sure what im having it will be either a mixed grill or a sunday roast with some spuds :D
