What I would suggest is that you do not put all your egs in one basket.

So be ruthless and do things once. if something appeals or someone appeals do it twice. If nothing comes from that do something else.

Agree with you totally and will follow this advice, it's what I tell myself.
PS - if they are skint - think very carefully. Horrid but essential unless you think they are good house husband material.

Too true unfortunately, I have to be very selfish in this and will settle for someone who is not a millionaire (obviously;) ) but not someone who brings nothing, am not interested in house husband material. I am in my 30s and unfortunately at that stage you have to be ruthless. Would rather go my own way and manage, than support someone.

morning everyone, i am a fabulous aunty, as the little devils will tell you, they'll get a smack if they don't, and my mum used to say if you wait till you can afford kids you'll never have any. Everyone in my family think's I'll wake up one day and decide I want kids, I'm positive this day will never come, cos I'm getting a tad too selfish, I want to do what I want to do, and I think it comes from the fact I didn't have a good childhood and used to look after my sisters, it's my turn now.

Lula how's your allotment coming along? at least it's started warming up now, was out in the garden 3 hours on Saturday just pottering, bit tired but it was great to be out.

    Hello fabby ones,

havent been in for a couple of days due to trying very hard to get all prawn deliveries done & being very crackered as a result. I ache all over, my neck, back & hips hurt & things keep clicking which isnt a good sign

Yargo - sorry to hear your news re car accident - hope you're recovering now. I so badly need your nail services, another side effect of deliveries  .

Eco - I'm ashamed to say that since I started doing the deliveries I havent been near the allotment :o but hope to get myself up there this weekend ... & am also planning to ride my bike there  Seeing as I've been doing 2 hours of walking 5 times a week & not lost any weight or inches in the last month, I'm terrified as to what will happen if I dont go out exercising  . Depending on the price I am considerng bingeing out on chocolate slimfast for a couple of weeks just to get things moving ( have family party in 2 weeks  )

Hope everyone ok & still fabulous :D

got a letter from DCA Blair, oliver and Scott the debt has finally been passed over. they are asking me to call them to set up a payment plan but i already have one with the DMP so do i just call them and give them the details of this. not really sure what i should be tell the DC.

 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long :(

Hi Mags, hope today is a good day!

I'm not sure but I think if you tell your DMP provider about the letter they will deal with the DCA and transfer payments over

    Hope this helps
