Hi all, gosh it has been really quiet on here recently:confused:

Anyway, as it's nearly the end of March and a quarter of the way through the year I thought I would review my 100 things to do list on here to show how[STRIKE] poorly[/STRIKE] brilliantly I am doing.

    Things done so far:
    • have the scary teeth cleaning thing done at the dentist (am scared of dentists)
    • go to an art gallery by myself
    • get a pay rise
    • get to £20 on Pigsback
    • get to £10 on nectarpoints
    • go to a particular pub I wanted to visit
    Things not done so far:
    • the other 94.
Hmm, not doing so well, mostly due to being lazy:rolleyes: I have made a start on another 10 or so and I am determined to get some done from the first page (where I become wealthy and sylph like and am regularly whisked away by a suitable and eligible love god to foreign climes and pondering proposals).

I do update it every week with my progress and any new ones, as I only have 80 things so far on my list, but I want to get some of the good ones done *sulks* I have a week off soon, or I will do once I have booked it, so I will try to improve my score then.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, I am really feeling losing the hour, it's nearly 8pm already:rolleyes:

    Hi Sarah,

well done on your achievements so far. I did start writing a list of things to do but only got to about 20 & then realised most of them were things I wanted to buy

I really only have 2 big things that I want to achieve :

lose that pesky stone  & lose one of the credit cards

Other than that I want to be more creative which encompasses decorating, gardening & crafting in any format & I want to be more chilled generally & not let things get to me.

There's a family event coming up & I'm pushing it to the back of my mind as I'm really not looking forward to it. I really dont take well to being told what to do & my family seem to love to tell me what to do & how I should be living my life

I so love living on my own & not being bossed about ( am willing to give it up for Tall Dark Handsome Witty Humorous Wealthy type though :D

I do like doing what I want all the time, one of the benefits of being single:D I'm certainly not keen to give that up, although like you I would make an exception under certain circumstances;) Also, I can't imagine having to give up my lie ins:rolleyes:

I think I have become too used to being my own boss and not having to smuggle regular shoe/clothing/book/cake purchases into the house under a disapproving glare, spending the whole day lying on the bed reading, listening to the radio and ruminating on which would be the best chocolate to choose next from the box and lounging round in my pyjamas with a glass of wine, looking at shoes on the internet. They would be difficult things to give up, but I would force myself under the right circumstances. *scuttles off to find wine*

  • Hello, yet again no time, but had to confess a terrible thought I had yesterday!

A guy I used to be friends with years ago is still friends with one of my good mates, I just don't see him, not cos of a row exactly just cos he married this really weird girl......anyhow my friend was telling me that they argue a lot and the first thing I thought was oooooooooo I wonder if they will get a divorce - que extremely detailed fantasy were I bump into "him" etc etc. I did laugh at myself. How mean to be wishing divorce on a guy who is actually lovely.......................

once I am off work next week, I will be back properly xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

wine located & consumption now in progress, along with cheesy puffs :o

diet / detox begins again tomorrow

Is it just me that finds that if i dont start the day right then the diet is doomed ? I was doing really well when starting the day with hot water & lemon felt like I didnt want to put 'impurities' in me, then ... ran out of lemons, started having tea or coffee in the mornings & it all went wrong from then on

1 hour & 15 minutes to finish wine & crispy, snacky type things then it starts again - I will exercise daily, I will eat healthily & consequently, I will be thin :D
