Am here, lots of motivation needed:D

Have had hot water and lemon and had a look in the cupboards, nothing much needs removing. Am off to the shops shortly to stock up on meat, fish, nuts and eggs and will avoid the bread isle:D Will take extra care that no cakes fall into my basket like they usually do.

I am really going to try hard his time, if I make sure I don't have anything which can ruin it in the house it will be much easier. I am going to miss sandwiches and jacket potatoes though icon9.gif.

Will report back later on today's food to keep myself on the straight and narrow.

Have just done a food shop, was £35:eek: and it was only food, no wine or cleaning stuff. Have absolutely nothing sugary or carby in the house, so hopefully I will stick to it. I had chicken and salad for lunch and will have fish and veg for tea and I have cheese and nuts for nibbles. Will see how I get on this evening, which is the worst time for me:rolleyes:

My clothes arrived, I had ordered 2 pairs of jeans, some cords and a skirt, and none of them fitted:eek: It wasn't even that they were a bit tight, I could not even pull them up properly:rolleyes: I ordered my usual size as well, so am a bit alarmed by that. On the plus side it means I have saved £52, but I really did want a pair of jeans. Maybe it's for the best, I promised myself some jeans if I lost half a stone, which I have not done:rolleyes: so I will look for some again as a reward when the pouns finally start melting off.

I also ordered my breakdown cover but it didn't track properly, so have had to put in a claim:mad: I hate it when that happens, I love my cashback:D Have to get my car tax by Wednesday as well, so it is turning into an expensive week.

On a more positive note I have booked a week off, paid some coins into my savings and am all stocked up on fruit teas:D

Oh well done on the shopping :A Funny how those cakes just fall into the basket - I usually find myself nearly impaled by baguettes hurling themselves at me too

I'm not going to resist jacket potatoes as I do love them but rarely eat them as cant be bothered to wait 2 hours for them to cook so will keep them for a week end treat :o

Now, down to this jeans business; I believe that the reason they didnt fit was due to karma, you were trying to cheat :naughty::D .

I'm now appointing myself Diet Nag :rotfl: so you will have those jeans, but when the time is right & you have upheld your end of the bargain ;)

I've had more nuts ( will need to buy another bag :o ) & have just had a cheese & ham omelette as it turns out that salad doesnt keep more than 3 days - it was going black & soggy  so will have to buy more tomorrow.

I am definitely experiencing some kind of withdrawal but its for a good cause :D

Hi Mags, hope today is a good day!

I'm not sure but I think if you tell your DMP provider about the letter they will deal with the DCA and transfer payments over

    Hope this helps

    thank you that helped.

I called them this morning felt a bit nervous as i always think these people are gonna yell at me and its all MBNA's fault after a rude dude made me cry. I got a lovely girl and she let me explain the situation and they have taken on the monthly payment. she said i will get called in 4 months with a settlement offer and i said i can honestly say i wont be able to meet it. I called DMP and they have taken the details and this months payment will go to the DCA.

you guys are great on here (((hugs))) cos i panic but iv learned a lot on this site not to let people talk to you in that manner etc etc.

    xx:beer:
 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long :(

    Hi Sarah and Lula

Sounds like you've both been really good today - now for the evening! We can do this

I had yoghurt and cereal for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and a ready meal for dinner (I know, I know, but I tend to live on them  ) Thought about going to the gym on the way home but couldn't face it! Maybe I will get an exercise DVD out later, after Corrie - feel free to nag me!!!

I do too:D I bought 5 ready meals yesterday before deciding I was on a diet again, they are in the freezer and too yummy and expensive to throw out, but they will keep for months so they are there for emergencies, will try to avoid them as I have more than enough in the house and a Co-op on the corner.

Am now eating salmon, cheese and mixed nuts and having a fruit tea, Day 1 successfully completed:D

Hmm, might have to go to bed soon as well, will stop me thinking about all the yummy things I usually eat, this time yesterday I was chomping my way through 2 eclairs and a big bag of cheesy puffs, with a glass of wine to hand.;)
