    Hello all,

thanks for support eco & yes I miss TDQ as well :(

Well done on day 2 - glad to see there were just minor treats today :D

I had the usual water & lemon all day & 1 cup of coffee this morning, a banana, a veggie cup a soup with croutons :shhh: a few handfuls of nuts, chicken salad & a small dish of greek yoghurt with 1/2 a tsp of honey :o . Not the best day really but more importantly I havent done any exercise other than a quick walk to local shops so tomorrow I plan to get on my bike  & ride up to the allotment   .

Struggling with the nibbly cravings in the evening  .

Hmmm maybe if we all lose some weight TDQ will come back  he's probably fed up with us all whingeing about it & not actually losing any :rotfl:

    Good plan :D

Have you ever watched the supersize vs superskinny programme perchance ?

I am now concerned that by eating all the right foods that I love I will gain another few stone as per the lovely lady tonight. Thank goodness my friend who was a fab cook has now moved to cornwall out of my reach  Thank goodness that buying new cookbooks is as far as I go in the kitchen ... imagine the size of me if I could cook delicious food, there wasnt a single meal she made tonigh that I didnt like the look of :o

Hmm, I often wish I could cook, I am terrible and have no interest in it, I do think that has something to do with my weight, I can't be bothered to cook something sensible and end up putting calorific ready meals in the microwave. I do think if I was a good cook I would take more interest in nutrition. I still intend to have a full set of Le Crueset pots and pans, but they will have to be for show. :D

With my lack of cooking skills, refusal to iron and housework skills so poor I have to motivate myself with public a tick list, I fear I am going to make someone a terrible wife.:o

Aha, but you are terribly witty & very fabulous so that I think is more than any man could wish for :D .

I do like to have a clean kitchen & bathroom & have no fear of the iron but also have no fear of dust or piles of anything including logs in the bedroom

I have always maintained that I am far more suited to being a rich man's mistress rather than wife ( no doubt she will be relieved to hear that to once I locate & ensnare him ;) )

I was never a fan of le creuset when everything was orange or grey but now that turquoise has been added to the spectrum I have been quite tempted.

No more ready meals for you :naughty: just bags & bags of ready salads instead. I do like creating them, they're very pretty & require minimal washing up too :D

I don't even notice dust, much less fear it.;)

Am definitely after wife status, but rich is the thing:D

You forgot pink and purple. Was never interested in orange or grey, far too practical.

Salad goes black and goes off if there is only one of you. It's like it just knows and wants to rub it in. Even salad mocks my single status.

I didnt know about the pink & purple, will now have to rethink my aversion to cooking.

I dont mind being a wife one day, just not until DD has left home... I can only deal with one person other than myself in the morning :o

You need to buy smaller bags of salad, I had a case of the squishy blackness - most unpleasant :(

The co op do bags that are just right for one person for two or three meals; I usually buy one of the sweet/crunchy variety & one of the spinach/rocket variety & mix them together along with carrot, tomatoes, sweetcorn & ham, chicken or cheese. They must be coated with dressing or mayonnaise to make them easily consumable & more yummy  Always eat it from a pasta bowl too - feels far more exotic that way :D

I am allowed mayonaisse and lots of cheese so I will give it a go, plus have a pastas dish which has never been used due to the fact that I bought it because it was pretty but I don't eat much pasta, I finally have a use for it:D

Day 3 tomorrow, good luck Lula and Shoe Gal, night night x

    Hi Everybody :hello:

Missed all the chat last night, had an earlyish night - Lula and Sarah you really make be laugh - and sum up my thoughts so well, especailly the bit about salad mocking our single status :rotfl:

Today I have had cereal and yougurt for brekkie, a tuna salad sandwich for lunch and just made nachos for dinner - whoops! :o And still no exercise - unless watching the footie tonight counts!

Got paid yesterday, my budget is really tight for April as I am going on holiday at the beginning of May and need to save some cash. Maybe buying less food is the answer
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

Hello Ladies and any gents out there??

I'm back! I;ve been catching up on all that i've missed and am getting used to the new home!

Most impressed at everyones diet achievements. I'm failing fast which is a real shame as I was pretty good on holiday. My friend I was with is very healthy and we ate lots but all really good stuff and not much ice-cream and no choc at all!! I have ruined it all very quickly indeed.

I went to the Ideal Home Exhibition last night (free ticket from here) and got a free goody bag including a packet of Mars Planets (now all eaten) and so far today have have a white kinder bueno and a creme egg...... I need to get back in the 'no choc' zone asap but so hard with Easter waving at us.

I managed to sell my first book on Amazon last night and it was a good one too! I sold it for £15 and after fees I got £13.91 and then spent £1.08 on postage so a pretty good result. This is made even better as it was a boring book on Customer Service which I got for free on a course I went on through work!!!

Well hope you all have a lovely evening

ps Sarah, you mentioned Hotel Chocolat some way back and it was me who has the addiction and made the recommendation.....soooo good!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
