are they like the hard lime sweeties with chocolate in the middle or soft centres?

I've had a lovely day at the beach with DS thanks. Scotland is lovely when the sun is shining! (that might only be ten days per annum but still...)

Hi, no , I know what you mean. They are chewy limey gingery with dark chocolate coating. Lovely!!!

    Thanks Makeup!

Matched betting is one of those things that you really don't understand until you actually do it. Then you need huge balls as almost every offered promotion gets screwed up in some way or takes far longer than you're led to believe. I have made and documented loads and loads and loads of mistakes and I've had several cases of sweaty plams and oooh nooo what the hell have I done moments but despite all that I'm not far off £1K in three months Although it feels an awful lot longer! Time wise it doesn't use much now that I've found all the free automatic matched bet locating gadgets lurking on t'internet. Mostly its just a case of being in the right place at the right time which is rarely when I have PC access.

    Hell all,

had a rubbish weekend feeling bad at myself but have given myself a good talking to.

I spent a total of £ 124.92p last week of which only £27.63 was on groceries ... the rest on various bits & pieces like clothes, ice creams etc :o.

I have managed to lose 2lbs though on my simple 'reduction & common sense' diet :) aiming for another 2 this week as well.

Hope everyone feeling much brighter now & good luck for the frugal week ahead; I'm starting with a NSD today

    Hi All,
Well done Lula on the 2lbs, I will be watching Dr Regan again this week she talks a lot of sense about diet pills etc.

Done quite a bit of gardening this weekend and cos I spent so much time in it, I didn't go out spending, I will have that new car one day. I'm ok with a budget till I have time off work then it goes out of the window, I have to limit myself to £50 a week, cos if I have £100 like Sarah I would spend it in no time, I've realised if I think I'm poor cos i don't have the money in the weekly budget I do spend less, so I guess it's working for me.

Hope everyone catches the sunshine today.

Well done Lula on your 2lbs:j I am joining you on the "reduction and common sense" diet and will also aim for 2lbs. I am hoping that having to live entirely of what I already have in will help.

I am aiming for an NSD today as well, I don't need anything and am not going to the shops, need to take the bags to the charity shop as well but am busy with work so will try again tomorrow, i need to get rid of them as they are cluttering up the place.

I have removed a shelf from my wardrobe and put all the stuff on it in storage boxes so I now have much more room in my wardrobe. Am hoping to declutter that as well as I can't even remember the last time I wore a lot of it.

    Hi

Thanks for your reply. I've been reading up about it on and off for probably over a year, but never felt sure about it. Then a couple of weeks ago, I just felt like it 'clicked' and I got it. I was going to have a go that weekend, but I wanted to post on here (well the Gambling board) to double check what I was going to do, but for some reason couldn't post. I've got that sorted now (as you can see!), but now I feel like I need to refresh myself about matched betting before I have a go.

I found a few MB locating gadgets on the internet aswell, which are very useful, but I managed to find what looked like a good matched bet on my own aswell. When you say every promotion gets screwed up, do you mean the bookies don't fulfill their end of the deal or they have some catch in the small print? That's what I'm most scared about, missing something in the small print and losing money.

    Gwenx

I believe the lime counts as one of your 5 a day. ;)
