:mad::mad: Just decided to risk weighing myself and have discovered that not only is the 3lb back on but it has bought another lb with it so now I am the heaviest I have ever been in my entire life. This is bloody ridiculous. All self inflicted. Right. Back on it again. Have had poached egg, beans and a slice of toast and coffee without sugar. I will go for a walk later I think, it is a lovely day and I won't be working till later. I don't want to be stuck in the house feeling like this. My clothes are too tight and I feel rubbish.
Well, the 3 month plan involves losing 15lbs so I will have to crack on, I want to get it done and I can do it. Life would just be so much easier and cheaper if we didn't have to eat.
On the debt free front I will try to have another NSD and I have £20 of coins to pay into my savings, I will ring work to see if there is any overtime for the weekend as I have been lazy and had some time off recently, I will check online banking, pigsback and quidco, I will update my spreadsheet and only eat what I already have in.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
 Afternoon all...
Sorry to hear that the universe has been operating in partial pants mode for the past couple of days. However, Sarah is absolutely right to say that it's not forever, and we will do this. I have just filled another three bin bags of non-recycleable, non-donatable and non-sellable carp, and had a reasonably healthy lunch. Hopefully I can get some more rubbish thrown out and maybe even some eBay listings done by the end of the day.
I feel a bit guilty about having had more than my fair share of the universe's happiness quotient yesterday. OH was up early, did some work and then asked if I wanted to go to the sea.So I slung my flip flops in the car, and headed out through Snowdonia to the beach at Barmouth. It was just so beautiful. The pristine white lambs were gambolling in the fields (I have noticed that there has generally been a lack of gambolling this year), there were just enough tractors to make some of the drive slow enough to enjoy the forests and the rivers, and it was warm enough to put the top down on the (replacement while OH's is being mended) car. :j It wasn't too much of a spendy day, either. We had a lovely prawn and grapefruit salad and walnut bread for lunch for a fiver each, then a £3.50 ice cream sundae (ahhh cappuccino, chocolate....
) in the fabulously named Knickerbockers. I tried to walk the ice cream off by paddling around the bay, thus also saving on exfoliating my feet...;) I've even caught the sun just a tiny bit. That's definitely one of those days that make the rest bearable.
I like this idea of the can/can't live without. I know that I can give up on clothes, alcohol, chocolate, even books (well, maybe not forever), but that I really struggle if we can't get out of town and into the countryside for a while. So petrol's definitely on the necessary spends for me. Fortunately my ancient car got through the MOT with only the obligatory £8 bulb needed.
Now off to check the banking/savings/Quidco etc...and to have another NSD.0 -

Hiya downnotout,
thought I'd pop in for a quick one, supposed to be working, feel really tired for some reason, wish someone was at home making me something to eat for tea, I agree woth Sarah life would be cheaper if we didn't have to eat and it would save a lot of time and trouble going out to get the food in the first place.0 -
Well you could always pick a random from your phone book and turn up at tea timeTOTAL AT START £13606.90 27/03/2018

Hi Downnotout
Welcome to the board!!
I've had a frustrating afternoon - I was supposed to be seeing a friend tonight for cinema and some kind of £5 meal in All Bar one. She cancelled at last minute due to some work function / emergency. She works in City so her job involves all kind of schmoozing affairs.
In the meantime another friend offered me a cheap ticket for a play. I turned him down thinking I had plans, then got in touch to see if I could go afterall but all the cheap tickets had gone by then and I wasn't in luck.
So from having two offers of evening entertainment I have nothing....
So instead I'm going to go to Halfords to buy a new tyre and inner tube for my bike - I'm already filthy from taking the darn thing off
Although I believe inner tubes are on 342.... but this isn't the kind of 342 I'm normally interested in......
Anyway the sun is shining and Ashes to Ashes was back on TV last night so may do a little blue eyeshadow in honour of that for my trip to the bike shop!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Finally I have some good news. I have been offered a permanent job today.
Hope everyone is well
