They'll get over it! Men just can't deal with emotions (well most of them anyway!)
True, should make the most of it!
Was reading the Boots Grabbit thread and apparently there are a lot of deals on creme eggs and mini eggs.
I MUST RESIST I MUST RESIST
Oooh, creme eggs, mini eggs, they're addictive!
Thanks everyone for letting me whinge and giving me sympathy. It was far more than I could have hoped for. Time to get looking for a job again I suppose!0 -
Yeah, I had that speech from her on the phone today, she said that they are such a small company. I didn't give them any negative feedback, believe me, I wanted to, but what's the point? Then they just think I'm a b*tch, not that it matters now anyway. Who cares what they think?!
That maybe a good thing, you don't know if they might still need you, if she doesn't take the job or they they have another role in the future.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Not at all.
The interviewer said she had done it herself and found it tough.
Oooh...mmm.. well then.. apart from GRRR! not much to say apart from share your frustration. Her own experience has obviously lead her to make incorrect assumptions about your abilities....
Bad sense of judgement.... would have been TOTALLY rubbish to work for anyway..;):pFeeFee

Yeah, she will think that I'm very disappointed, a bit down and very very worried and a little bit peed off, which to be fair I think is fair. I didn't give them feedback though. To be fair, they interviewed me well, just don't like what happened.

True. She did say in the interview that there were a couple of the women in the office that didn't get on that they were aware of. God know's what I would have walked into. I left my job with BT last October after 8 years because of bullying. I don't want that again! (Whoops, I mentioned my former employer, if they want to sue me they'll need to find out who I am first.) To be honest, if I can't a job over the next year, I won't give a XXXX if they do anyway! I will have nothing!0 -

What gets me is that in the workplace we are always told to be objective, not subjective. What a lot of old rot! All this thinking out the box crap, people deal on what they know in the real world, there's no avoiding it, much to other's detriment!

Anyway, enough about me, anyone got any shoes? :rotfl:0

Not new shoes but I do have a new watch - well sort of.
I really love the Toy watches but they are too much for me (£128) but Oasis have a knock off in pink for £30.
I don't go near an Oasis very often so not found one yet but my friend was there today and rang me as they were in stock. She wanted one as well so has bought two, one for me one for her. That is a true friend - spotting bargains for me while she is out herself.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

A new watch is good! £128 for a watch is a lot. I spent £125 on a watch 6 years ago and plan to have it another 60 if I can. Even then I thought that was expensive but my ex talked me into it (but didn't pay for it). I do love it though. I had money back then.
£30 for a replica is fine. That was really sweet of her. I don't have any friends that would do that. Pink is very good too:D:o:D:j
