I have an inflated fit ball in my bedroom. I also have some of those hand-weights with velcro so you can wear them as you go jogging. I've never used the hand-weights but I do sometimes sit on the fit ball (not actually do any exercises but it is nice to sit on....)

I was thinking about getting one of those, does it work if you just sit on it, ie you use your musles to balance on it, or do you actually have to do exercises on it?

Yes ma'am, have just done so.

Hmmmm * wonders just how quickly one could pay off the debt if always did as was told by Miss Buffy * :D ....

    * remembers that were it not for the tv, fridge freezer, wheel bearing, dentist & a few clothes then would have paid £2,000 off the debt :o*

I believe that just by rolling a few inches forward & back & from side to side that muscle usage occurs. Be grateful for not having smug 9 year old who can sit on top of the ball for over 3 minutes just by balancing & using muscles ... my excuse is that my legs are too long :rotfl:am only 5'4
  • I had one of those once but then one of pet rats chewed a hole in it. never even got to blow it up!

I might look for one of them tomorrow too.

he he like I'd ever use it!!

They are quite space consuming so I wouldnt bother unless you will use it or could maybe teach pet rat to balance on it & therefore potentially earn money from small pets circus :D

Need to conserve energy as on 'rations' from tomorrow morning :(

    night night

A £1000 is still a £1000 and an acheivment, despite all the problems with the TV and Fridge those won't need replacing this year so more money to throw at your debts, so well done.
