I have a step machine, a stretchy thing, a rubber band stretchy thing, weights(ha ha) various dvds and diet books.
none have worked by osmosis.
I am still overweight.

I once thought of buying one of those, do they actually work?
They do have a toning effect but they don't actually shift fat so they work best after you've lost weight
They good thing is you can't actually eat whilst wearing it as it is too tight :rotfl::rotfl:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
I have an inflated fit ball in my bedroom. I also have some of those hand-weights with velcro so you can wear them as you go jogging. I've never used the hand-weights but I do sometimes sit on the fit ball (not actually do any exercises but it is nice to sit on....)I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

I was thinking about WW but been there done that I want something a little flexible - I guess the points thing is the same as calorie counting really but all I have memory wise of WW is counting to 20 each day and eating loads of rich tea biscuits.
and with WW I found it impossible to maintain but perhaps with calorie counting and working off extra calories with exercise ........ opinions please!
Hey Buffy & everyone else too,
after my earlier post about being demotivated on low carb type diet I've decide that calorie counting is the only way forward for me. The low carb thing is just not for me. I've just been weighing out cereals & surprise surprise the 30g recommended & my usual size bowl of the stuff are vastly different . Although I'm sure the low carb will work if I do stick to it, that's not how I want to eat for the rest of my life & I assume that once the carbs are reintroduced the weight will pile back on.
Makeup - I have on of those big balls too, a lovely pearly pink one that's very bouncy & like you say great fun ...
DD & I have today finished all the chocolate in the house - we're both sick of it now - hopefully this will have the same effect on me as the Baileys binge did
Aiming for 1000 calories a day & weight loss of 2lbs per week0 -
