Am halfway through a bottle of pinot grigio and must be getting tired or something as I just tried to thank one of my own posts

    :rotfl::T

Self appreciation is much under valued :D

As to why all your friends are getting married & having babies ? Well, that's because they obviously dont know about the delights of the SAID thread & 'sharing' a bottle of wine without acutally having to pour into more than one glass ;)

Mine is now all gone but it was something about Deliverance & Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. I am quite proud though as this bottle has lasted 3 days ( I was out last night though & actually havent been completely dry since about friday

I am/was on the rose, but better get to bed I think. Want to get into work early and try. Hoping for a quiet-ish day, hopefully nothing to stressful.
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

I'll be on call 24x7 which in my job requires being fit to drive.

Wow that is a serious commitment. I sometimes do a week or two of 5.30am starts which has a similar effect on the evenings before, as I drive to work. Still, think of the money you'll save - and the calories..!

I've just been looking at job ads on my company's website and have seen a job in London that's a grade higher than I'm currently on. Can't decide whether to apply - it'd be more money, but still stressful, shift work, stuck in windowless rooms ... my redundancy plan is more enticing, but more risky.

Should probably decide tomorrow when the wine's worn off. Sorry, rambling

I can talk, says she in a job she can't stand but you only live once. Redunancy plan sounds like some thing you would remember for ever xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Still Bowski here....

Ohhh Dan I'm so impressed with your multiple quotes :D How do you do it?
You never know Dan, you might meet your future wife at the wedding! You'll have to get some pics up of the wedding on facebook then add me so I can look at them before I de-activate my account :p That goes for everyone with wedding pics on their profile :D

I really really really don't like wine, I wish I did as the thought of sitting in drinking wine with you lot sounds very appealing!
The only time I drank wine was when I was about 19, I got in from a night out and was hammered. My nextdoor neighbour was still up drinking and invited me in, I ended up sharing 3 bottles of rose with her (I was drinking it straight from the bottle :o). Anyways the next day I was like 'hmm yeah I can drink that rose stuff, it's lovely'
Erm.... a few weeks later I found out it was all the vodka n coke I'd had beforehand that made it taste good and it was infact rank! yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk!

Talking of drinking.. on my way to badminton yesterday I walked past some kids coming out of the park. two lads were holding their mate up and he looked like he'd passed out, I was just going to walk past as I had DD with me and didn't want her to see the state of him any longer than she had to but he looked dead. So I stopped and asked the lads what he'd had and they said he'd drank straight vodka!!!! We phoned an ambulance before we left them but oh god, I dread DD getting to that stage in life. I told her to learn from what she saw, I doubt it'll happen though. Wasn't that long ago I was up the park getting drunk myself

I think the MB thing, when we make enough to treat our Mam we will do, obviously she'll think something's wrong and wanna know how we can afford to treat her to whatever it is, and then we'll tell her about that 'scam with a catch' isnt a 'scam with a catch' after all! That is of course providing Nicnacnoo can do it, but I think she will.

Can't drink red any more - gives me a headache and a funny coloured tongue. Stick to white or *sshhh* rose these days.

'Night. I never buy rose, obviously. It's not the case that I've already consumed it all and only have white left. Oh no. Have a good day at the office :)
