I've just checked and most of my FB friends are either saying what they had for dinner, how happy they are in their relationship or that their baby has just done a poo in its nappy. I think it's possibly better to retain an air of mystery if that's the more interesting thing they can come up with - so I hardly ever update my status..!

I wouldnt say that there's a right or wrong involved here. Some people just find it harder to defend their right to privacy than others & are concerned about offending others or breaking chains & potentially incurring the wrath of the internet 'gods'.

I dont give a flying toss about such sensibilties & only send on emails that I find amusing or informative & feel certain that the person I am sending it to will as well.

Excellent, a while ago I was starting to feel a bit guilty about drinking in the house alone, so I cut out booze for a couple of weeks unless I was out with friends. Now I've discovered this thread I am no longer drinking alone so it's fine and will save me a fortune on going to the pub - another top moneysaving tip :cool:
