I meant to say in my earlier post, am I the only one that's a bit concerned Sarah's left us??

Hmmm, her profile shows: Last Activity: 03-08-2009 11:38 PM & working back through the thread to that date & time she'd just googled Dominic West

You're right. It feels a lot longer though. I think I'm missing her baby steps posts.

I just googled Dominic West and he is indeed lovely.

I just googled Dominic West too and he's very nice - would only just be my toyboy too so he'll do!

Sarah, hope you are ok and just having a ponder/plan, or out on a date...

    Yuck ! G&T for me :D

Mmmmm same as that ... but having to make do with the last dregs of the rose tonight - all soaked up with some hula hoops . The soup was fine but I was so tired I feel asleep at 6.30 :o so had to have large coffee to perk me up . I am so rubbish at detoxing & dieting .

Nicnacnoo & bowski - you pair really make me laugh - naughty sisters hiding on here revealing all while mummy thinks you're little angels - loving your style girls  I think that bowski & i have discussed the merits of Brandon before & I seem to remember that she was happy to pass on Johnny so I did say she could fight it out for Brandon with my sister ... while theyr'e pulling eachothers hair out I'll sneak up from behind & whisk him away :rotfl:.

Well done for letting your DD out alone bowski - mine keeps wanting to go to the shops on her own (only 5 minutes walk but she's quite petite & I'm terrified :o) & I've been saying for years that she can when she's 10 ... that's now 8 weeks away & I wish I'd said 12 . I have a feeling she's playing me as I said she couldnt have a mobile until she started going out on her own & that would be when she starts at secondary school .... if I let her go to the shops then I'll have to get her a mobile. Dammit - hate being outwitted by someone shorter than me :D

Well done on your OU course SBC

Nicnacnoo... No I didn't ring her, she didn't have her phone on her. But Matthew had put her on the train and let me know she'd got on ok. The train will have been pretty busy at that time so I wasn't too worried.
I was also thinking you shouldn't tell Mam about your debt as that'd make her skitz haha!

Ziggles I certainly did feel great today for getting those few things done, it's things I've needed doing for a while so it was good to get them all out of the way at once. As for your father dearest, you can tell him from us lot that you are infact - F-Fabulous :A We'll have none of that rubbishy business!!!!!
I hope you have a good weekend with your cousin

SBC... Yes the wash/rinse is working ok it's just the spin cycle. It's been making a funny noise recently so maybe something's snapped or unattatched itself? I'm just making that up, I don't know the first thing about washing machines. I do know it's at least a good 15 years old though!
And a massive WELL DONE :T to you for all your hard work this year, I'm not suprised you weren't around for a while! You deserve the good week and long may it continue! I totally agree with Shoe Gal, it's nothing to do with good luck!!

Gwen.. Hope you start to feel better soon.Did you manage to get anything done in the afternoon to feel like you'd accomplished something?
What does WT stand for? I don't remember. I remember who it is but don't remember what the letters stand for and I'm thinking really nasty words when I read it :o
You'll have to make sure you let us know when you start your diary coz I'm terrible for only finding them when they're pages long and then I never find the time to read them. I think I shall make it my mission next week to catch up on the diaries.
What are the gigs you've planned?

Lula... I can't believe your DD's b'day is coming round again, it doesn't seem that long ago that she turned 9. Will she be having another sleep over or have you learnt your lesson on that one?

My DD has been going out on her own for a while now. As much as I'd love to keep her in wrapped up in cotton wool I know I can't do it. I don't think it's neccessarily an age thing, all children are different and I think you know your own child and what they're capable of. A friend of mine has a DD older than mine and he doesn't allow her out alone or to stay in the house alone, she's also quite small for her age and I think you maybe look at them as younger than they are. Where as my DD is big for her age and people always think of her as older than she is.

I've also just googled Dominic West and although he is quite nice, he's no Brandon Flowers! Sarah's welcome to him :rotfl:

I notice Hollybery seems to have gone AWOL too

I am soooo mad at myself for having yet another late night, it was gone 3am lastnight by the time I got to sleep. But that was my friends fault, she was up drinking wine and got a bit drunk and decided I had to stay awake with her. Not that I had much choice as I was sleeping on her sofa. I'd gone to my friends to sleep over for the night and forgot to take my toiletries bag:rotfl: But ...I did remember my laptop ;) I also forgot to shut my front downstairs window for the 2nd time this week  Which is nothing compared to leaving my front door ajar while I was out for about 40mins on tuesday evening.
I don't deserve to have any belongings left! It's only a matter of time before my car gets broken into aswell, it's pretty obvious that the windows broke, what with having a wedge of paper in it to try and keep it up. I'm stupid really coz I leave my stereo in. I'll have to start taking it out with me. I'm a bit stubborn really coz I think well just coz it's there on show doesn't mean someone has the right to steal it, which is just a totally stupid way to think, I now realise!

Well I suppose I'd best get to bed, I am shattered and I've got my niece and nephew in the morning

Probably not the motor then Which would be among the most expensive parts.

If its not draining properly after the rinse cycle it could be something as simple as a blocked drain hose, faulty water level switch or a faulty valve which should be relatively cheap to sort out.

If it is draining properly it could be anything from a broken timer, centrifuge switch, drive belt, pulley, motor coupler, clutch or transmission.

Whoah! :T I found 2 units at the same time tough at undergrad level.

How close are you to finishing your masters?

I know what you mean about the money though. I'm paying for it myself as well & the next units are £825 & £2425.

I'm basically trying to get all shopping/petrol/birthday & christmas presents etc from Tesco's for the OU vouchers on the clubcard deals, asking people to give me OU vouchers as birthday/christmas presents etc. I even booked rooms without breakfast while I've been working away if there was a Tesco's nearby so I could use the cafe & get clubcard points.:o

Have you looked at the finance assistance packages on the OU site? I'm on a reasonable wage now & am still entitled to some money back on the fees.

Sorry for the totally off topic rambling, but I just have to say before I forget:

Thank you to everyone who mentioned He's Just Not That Into You,

I got Glamour on Monday, and have read the book though twice now, and have found it really helpful in giving me some perspective....and hopefully I will be less likely to put up with carp in the future.

    So, thank you!

Also, why is getting orgainised for holidays so s*dding difficult? Every time I think I have everything, I remember something else...grrrr!
