Kicking myself because I only missed getting a distinction by 4 lousy marks . I'm pretty sure I know where I dropped them as well & it was because I second guessed myself.

I had no idea how much work was going to be involved & naively signed up for 2 courses at the same time (Business Studies & Personal Finance) BIG mistake. Won't be doing that again as they basically took over my life but it's out of the way now & at least I've got the certificate in half the time it would have taken otherwise.

    :j:j:j:j

    Well done you

    Hello!

Bleurgh. Sorry, I thought I'd get it out of the way. Bowski - Yes, I still feel bleurgh, but a slightly more energetic bleurgh than yesterday, so a small improvement. Not a very good day so far to be honest, but I am trying to improve it. My Mum and work colleagues have both driven me crazy this week. Only my friends (in real life and on here) and coco pops have kept me sane.

I found out today that WT is staying on working at my place rather longer than I'd thought, which is good for him, but bad for me as I have to see his mug every day for the forseeable future now. I'm trying to look at this positively though (somehow) and maybe it will give me extra incentive to find a new job. I've had a little think about that situation aswell recently and I think one of the reasons why I get so annoyed with him is that the way he's treated me makes me feel like I'm !!!!!! and not good enough.

Anyway, I've tried to turn the day around this afternoon by making plans with friends (including two gigs!), writing another letter to M&S (I was v.miffed they didn't reply to my first one, but now I suspect the Customer Service woman I was complaining about gave me the wrong address!) and I've started a few other bits and bobs. I'm going to head off in a sec and see if I can do some more. I just want to end the day feeling like I've accomplished something, so I'll be back later. In the meantime:

Lula - You've given up coffee  How are you managing? I don't think I could even contemplate it. I'm fairly sure caffeine withdrawal was the reason for my blinding headache on Sunday. It was soon sorted with a big mug of coffee though :D And you can have Brandon, but I'm having Caleb Followill, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. Greedy me? :rotfl:

Bowski - Wow!!! How much have you done today? I love days like that, I really feel like I'm making progress, unfortunately they don't happen as often as I'd like. Let us know how you get on with everything.

Well done SBC! What're you drinking?

makeup - Have fun camping. I wish I could say that I love it, because in theory the idea does appeal, fresh air, countryside and all that, but in reality I pretty much hate it. Give me a proper bed and an en-suite bathroom anyday. What is the weather forecast like? Is it Cornwall?

Hello to everybody else and I'm also contemplating my own diary. Just for the name...

    Right, I'm off
