    Hi Y'all

I'm home after a fun weekend with my family. My niece is very cute and provides much amusement!!

My sister is going into hospital tomorrow, hopefully, to have her new baby induced so I'm going to be dashing up to Brum again at some point this week to meet the new little one!

Hey there, LMM - I'm going to run off and read your diary shortly!

I'm looking forward to my graze box arriving later this week!

    Hi makeup

Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend - and fingers crossed everything goes well with the new baby :D

Has been really quiet this weekend - am begining to think everybody has found more exciting things to do

Hey everyone & welcome to lilmissmup :hello:

I'm back & oh wow does my living room look fabulously clean & tidy :j.
hope you all had pleasing weekends full of alchocohol, sweets & fliatations, from what I've read it sounds as if that was the case

I on the other hand am completely shattered, very grubby & the most unflirtable I think I have ever been :o

However, the floorboards are gleaming, the rungs are cosy, the walls are fingerprint free & I dyed an old throw to go on the sofa - cost £15 in dye but probably a good £600 cheaper than a new sofa :D.

I've also taken the opportunity to have a large clear out/declutter which is very liberating. Can anyone explain why I had insurance documents from 3 years ago .

I went a bit bonkers with the white paint & even refurbished an old picture frame which I always hated the colour of & am in the process of doing the same with the bathroom mirror - soon it will be like living in an igloo :rotfl:

There hasnt been any action on the man front other other than a very rude text from Doctor Fish. As he didnt call on thursday as agreed, but waited until friday to confess to his licence/car free status, I thought I wouldnt rush to tell him I wasnt interested. He text me at 2 on saturday morning  to say how he hoped for at least text to say if I was or wasnt interested. I decided to let him wait a bit longer & then text him today to apologise & declare that I'd been so busy ( true, but also what he said to me earlier in the week when not calling as agreed the first time  - (repeat offender & I should have struck him off then)

I also said that his late confession to his car status & then his driving while unlicenced & uninsured left me with the feeling that he was perhaps a tad dishonest & arrogant so thanks, but no thanks but best wishes anyway.

Welll, I got an absolute tirade of absue back from him ranting about how prim & proper I was & who the F did I think I was, F me & what a load of carp about being too busy to text so F me again .

I dont think men like it when we play them at their own game :rotfl:I was alomst tempted to text him back & say well actually Doctor (probably hospital porter) Fish you can F off yourself because I am fabulous ... but then thought that he wasnt even worth wasting one of my free texts on :D. He reckons he's a senior registrar at SGH in A & E but I reckon he's an @rse :p.

Shame I didnt get to go out with my friend last night but I do have a fresh & fab new room which will give me a lot of enjoyment & satisfaction for ages so after 3 strikes I've deleted my profile on the fishing site & am going to concentrate on making my home & garden fabulous & might even get around to a bit of debt busting now & then :rotfl:.

I'm so tired & need a bath so will head off now,

    hugs to all

    lula

You are F Fabulous just for that paragraph alone :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Not worth wasting a free text on will be my new life mantra

Congratulations on the floor and all - it sounds lovely :j

    Nite, nite :D

    Hi all.

Shoe Gal mentioned this thread but did warn me for it's madness, and what do I see on the first post I read, something about a Doctor Fish?!
    :rotfl::rotfl:

    I think I may like it here....haha.

I've spent far too much money on drinking this weekend (which I rarely do but did it both Friday AND Saturday this weekend) and am paying the price now.

Should be sleeping but am wide awake and amused by my kitten who is attacking towels from inside my wardrobe :rotfl:

Just to clarify (slightly!) the F Fabulous Lula has ventured into the dubious world of internet dating on 'plenty of fish', which has now been officially renamed 'plenty of freaks'!

Hi all, am up with the lark today as my sleeping pattern seems to have gone slightly awry:rolleyes: Am really struggling with this damn dfw-ing at the moment, my "I want everything now" mindset is not helping. I am also living off the cc for a while:rolleyes: but should be back to using my own money this week. Then I will be back on my "if I can't afford it out of my current account I can't have it" track.

Spent the weekend doing a bit more decluttering and decided I needed some new bedding as the decluttering involved some being thrown out, went to M&S and got a lovely set, only £19.50 so a bargain;) and managed to avoid a patent leather flight bag for £89 which would be perfect for hand luggage when I am whisked away on a European city break. Sadly as there is no sign of a "whisker" to my "whiskee" I had to drag myself away. icon9.gif I did get the home magazine so I can drool over that later.

I had my graze box on Saturday which was yummy:D, pineapple, apple strudel mix and honey glazed nuts, probably my best ever freebie:j, however I went to cancel straightaway as far too expensive to get every week, might do it again as a one off treat though.

I have avoided doing another grocery shop as I think I have enough to last for a few more days and I need to be running things down really as I can't fit much more in the fridge. I haven't lost anything as I cheated a bit on the diet :o:o:o but I haven't put any more on and I am back on it again.

    Welcome to lilmissmup and damnsam:D

Lula, sorry to hear about Dr:rolleyes: [STRIKE]Senior Registrar[/STRIKE] Trainee Porter Fish, are all the men on that site bonkers? Well done on all your hard work on the house, it sounds lovely and far more rewarding than a man:D Not worth a free text joins no freaking drama in my mantras.:D

Hollyberry, hope OH's charger turns up, I have managed to lose my tv remote control whilst changing the bed:confused: Most annoying. Hope you are feeling better today.

Ziggles, good luck with the hair.:D

TDQ, I agree with Shoe Gal, if it's meant to be it will all work itself out so don't worry, just enjoy the time you have left there, good news that she will be able to come and visit when you're back here.

Shoe Gal, hope you are managing to stick to your plan, no need to worry that everyone was out having a life, I certainly wasn't:D

Nicnacnoo and bowski, glad you had a good day out and manged to avoid ice cream man costs:beer:

make up, hope everything goes well with your sister and all the dashes up the motorway.

Buffy and gwen, hope you are okay.

Apologies if I have missed anyone out, off to do some more tidying and resume the search for the remote control (how, how, how, I was only changing the bed ) and not look at the M&S site.

Just in work and wanted to pop by to say hello!

SarahB, your new bedding sounds fun! But then, I am slightly weird and do get excited by new bedding :)
