Hello LMM, welcome in
You're in a strong position what with no debt and being the one who has to sort everything out. It'll be a massive hassle BUT you can pick up anything of value he's left and dispose of it properly on Ebay with the proceeds going to a holiday fund for yourself
Bowski: Unfortunately this is an Aussie girl who I have, typically, fallen for a few weeks before I come home. She has said herself that if I was staying longer then we'd be going placesI am going to her party next sat and she's coming to my leaving party in 3wks so it's not ALL bad...

Heres my into....lol.
I am Dawn, 25, not in debt but just been left by my OH of 6.5yrs as I want a family and he has decided he doesn't.
Thats the short version anyway, i will tell more if people don't hate me for it.
So i need to stay on the MSE bandwagon more than ever as moving into a 1 bedroom house with my two cats, whilst he moves into a £55 bedsit which apparently doesn't even have a bed.
Helllooooo :hello:

I'd say enjoy it while you can for what it is - if it's meant to be it will work out somehowSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Yeh we're deffo keeping in contact whatever happens, she is coming travelling to the UK next summer so she's gonna come stay with me for a week or two so I can show her around Cornwall and the local pubs
I would much rather end up kissing her and being more attached when I leave than have nothing happen, just in case we never get the chance. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. The danger of my having a life has been much exaggerated. The most exciting thing in the last 24 hours has been the ongoing search for OH's phone charger, which has somehow slithered off like a sidewinder somewhere between the living room, the car and his mum's. I am leaving it to him to search for now, but if he hasn't found it by this evening, the patented Hollyberry search and retrieval service (TM) will be instigated...
In other news, both OH and I are dithering somewhere between "duh, gotta cold" and "does swine flu start with a high temperature?". We've scrapped plans for going out tonight incase it does go the way of the pig and we're infectious. Have to say that I don't feel particularly bad, just achy, sneezy, bit of a sore throat and a temperature so I'm fairly sure it's just a cold.I am vigorously handwashing and all that anyway, as my mum lives with us, and I desperately don't want to give her anything (she had a scary bout of pneumonia over Christmas).
TDQO - good luck with theand her future introduction to Cornish pubs.
Shoe Gal - I succumbed to the online sales shoe sales yesterday...:o
hi lilmissmup - Good luck with the new house. Sounds as though it's been a tough time to get through. We will do our best to listen and help through any rantage needed.
Bowski - hope you're enjoying your afternoon in the park - sounds good!:D
Gwen - a healthy breakfast should always include chocolate...and ziggles, those kids' sweets are sounding tempting
Sarah - hope you're ok, and having a good weekend.
Lula - hope your floor is now painted, drying, and you're not too far from being able to walk back to the computer.
makeup - hope you've had a nice weekend in Brum. :cool:0 -

Good evening,
Me and Bowski went to the park, turned out it was some kind of rave/boke with a tape deck kind of rubbish and not bands! so we just let the kids play on the swings n that for a bit then when they wanted ice cream came home and got one out of the freezer, so a cheap day for us!
I went on plenty of fish for a nosey but just had a look at the meets, will have a search later and see if theres anyone worth wasting my time on!
Ziggles, nice work on the dfw style of doing your hair with free hairdye, cant be bad,
Holly, hope the charger turns up, i always have Sony Ericssons so have a charger in 3 different rooms!!!
TDQO, id make the most of it if i were u, have a bit of fun while you can
Anyone else, have a great Sunday0 -
