I've lost all motivation re moneysaving - stupid man things have taken over my life :doh:.
Have money in the bank to pay CCs, just havent got around to doing it this week
I'm not spending much though & I do have quite a few vouchers etc - £ 10.73 for co op, £9.50 for Tatco, £9 LVs & I think I have enough points to swap for £10 amazon or boots vouchers too, + all those lovely boots points to gain
I've also put in a quidco enquiry re the lovefilem £17 that hasnt tracked  so not completely rubbish
Whats the 17 quid lovefilm quidco thing? Sounds pretty good. I'm v.all or nothing I think. At the moment, I'm quite obsessed with moneysaving, but before that my life was taken over by carp men. It was my friend though that said given a choice, she'd rather be rich than have a man. I think she had a point.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have loads of quality items just looking for a new home:D
Me too Sarah. Got to sort them all out and get them listed. I meant to ask do you like the epilator? I've been thinking about getting one, but am worried I won't use it and then it'll sit in a cupboard like the rest of my carp.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

Mine was about £15 from qvc and it's brilliant. Doing your legs is easy and painless, it just tickles a bit. Under the arms is another story _pale_ was very painful the first time I did it, but if you make sure to do it when the hair is fairly short, it's not too bad and the last time I did it I hardly felt it. It just takes a bit of practise. I would never go back to razors now.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

If you take out a 14 day free trial with lovefilm you're meant to get £17 quidcocash ... however, you have to have 10 films in your list of ones you want to watch & I've actually ended up paying for 3 months of films at £12.70 so far
. I just dont watch enough films so really should cancel but am now scared to cancel until my quidco enquiry gets dealt with.
Just another ridiculous Lula style financial plan that goes wrong. I've kind of agreed with myself to not stress about debt clearing until after my hol ( 5 1/2 weeks now  diet, diet, diet, exercise, diet , exercise ) & then come September 1st to really seriously get my act together.
I have booked an mot though, next tuesday so fingers crossed please0 -
I'm shattered after todays events, my bed & I need eachother now
Goodnight
ps Gwen - I too have an epi thing - brilliant0 -

I have avoided the love film one as I would forget to cancel it.:o I am just so rubbish and disorganised at things like that. I do think it sounds quite good if you do watch a lot of films though.
I have put a ticket in for my insurance which is showing as pending at £70, will be most annoyed if it doesn't pay out. I set myself a challenge to get £400 this year from quidco, am only at £160 so far.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
inspired by your fishing talk I am now chatting to a 26 year old..................
who clearly can't read - he is too young but cute photo !!xx
Lula - much respect to you my dear I wouldn't give anyone my phone number!! - this may explain why I never get anyhwere!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
This morning as I was hacking around the M25 I heard my phone bleep to say I had a text. Although I never use my phone while driving, being a mummy means I just cant ignore it in case DD has injured herself. Well in future she may have to wait because I damn nearly crashed. There on the screen was photographic evidence of Mr.CamperVan in all his 'glory'.
:rotfl:
I'm somewhere between snorting with laughter and horror. As for Mr Posh, just be careful, eh?Hope he turns out to be a good 'un. We like you safe & happy. :A And keep thinking no freakin' drama...
makeup - I picked up Glamour too - glad the book's a good read. I'm stacking up my reading for hols next week, as I don't seem to be sleeping much at the moment. I'm planning to be out on the balcony at sunrise with a bottle of water and lots of reads.Hope you are doing ok.
Sarah - I have plenty of quality items ready on Turbolister to go to eBay on my return.(And I have custard.
)
I have spent my treats money for this month (holiday budget is a separate pot, thankfully) in the House of Fraser sale yesterday. I bought a silk dress for £24, a very foxy linen number for £22.50, a coat for £10  and a fabulous long top for £6, which has had an unexpectedly positive impact on OH. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
See you later

The Love Film thing was easy. Pick 9 really obscure titles of the it'll be 6 months before we track them down because we don't actually have them in stock variety. Make number 10 something you want to watch which is immediately available - their system helpfully gives you this info. Watch film. Delete everything else from your request list. Return film. Cancel your membership. £17 for 10 minutes effort and a trip to the post office for proof of posting (trust no-one!).Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Hello ladies, sounds like you're all having a barrel of laughs with POF lol. After seeing my friend Ann on it I was tempted to give it a go but she pointed out all of the downfalls and I still don't think that I'm ready for it... is it bad that I would feel like a failure if I had to use it? But then I do go to uni with thousands of eligible young people so don't really have an excuse.
I'm feeling bad atm cus I haven't been to the gym for nearly two weeks and my diet has gone slightly haywire. Am in control again now I hope, have a nice steak and lots of veg for dinner tonight
The highlight of my week was probably last night, went into work at 1pm, went and blew up a tunnel then got home by 8pmIt doesn't get much better than that haha.
Lula: be careful with these men, I've read too many horror stories! Do you know any particulalrly violent men who wouldn't mind hanging around in the vicinity the first time you meet them? The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0
