I've been on here like a million times since yesterday looking for a mood uplift but no-one here.
Do you guys know that there are people out here depending on you for their daily fix:rolleyes:
    Hope you're all ok

Hi All, sorry not posted but I have been reading the posts and I was going to post but I've been out with an ex, and after we had a chat about what went wrong last time we've decided to give it another go, cos basically we were both keeping each other at arms length and he worked away a lot then, but now he doesn't, and it seems really diffferent this time.
Anyway enough of that, got my mot coming up and trying to be tight but failing fast, and my insurance is due in September, so got to get my head in to gear and do other stuff, and I have loads of baby courgette's i nearly got a tape measure out the other day so I could vchart how fast they grow in 24 hr's, figured that was sad tho. Got to do some work so hope everyone who's been having a carp time finds a little ray of sunshine soon, or a guy, and I'll be back soon to thank everyone.

Hello you gorgeous & fabulous ladies & TDQ ;)

Sorry for absence, tried on monday but forums were down & last night I was emptying out the trash at the bottom of the barrel :rotfl:

Gwen - I did wonder which of the fabulous ladies I kept seeing was you :D

Makeup - so sorry that you're personally involved with that tragedy, I kind of know what area you're working in from your kind pm months ago & to do your job you must be a very caring person with a big social conscience so I imagine that stuff like this does hit hard :grouphug: thinking of you hon .

Right confession time  I have done absolutely nothing on the debt busting front other than receive some more survey vouchers :D.

There is news on the fish barrel front though ....

Having spent the week end annoyingly thinking about Mr. Posh Town & what had happened to him I decided to try one more call on monday morning. He picked up after 2 rings & when I said who I was & that I thought he was dead, he very casually & almost surreptiously - to my mind - said "No, I'm not dead but I havent been very well though". I immediately realised that he was a cowardly, lying & probably married too cheating !!!! of a man . He then muttered something about 'hooking up soon' . I snorted (inwardly of course ;)) & said "No need, just wanted to clear my conscience" & hung up. Hah :p.

As to Mr Funny ( previously known as Mr. Widower but name change necessary in case I let slip that this is my usual habitat & he decides to investigate further ) - I like what I know of him so far. He has texted & we've spoken on the phone a couple of times. He hasnt mentioned any of his seedy fantasies or nasty habits & just seems to be a guy who has unexpectedly found himself single & isnt quite sure how to go about rebuilding a new life. I'm going to the coast to meet him tomorrow & we're having a picnic on the beach.

As to Mr. Gorgeous Personal Trainer with Camper Van - I've decided to let him slip away as frankly I only want to behave really badly with him & this just isnt possible when I have a child/conscience/morals which is damned annoying but hey, I just look at his pic now & then & drool slightly :o:rotfl:

There is plenty of slime out there, I had a message from a guy who openly admits to wanting a woman who has other men. I replied to him that if I was given permission then it really wasnt so much fun & what the heck was the point :D He persisted & I ignored. I did however note that he's now openly named another woman on his profile who obviously rejected him in & then blocked any further messages from him. Nasty piece of work  & a lesson learned that one should be firm but also polite & friendly when rejecting advances from strangers lest they humiliate you publicly .

Clearly if I was girl of little taste, less morals, more time & no children I could easily be having senseless 'encounters' all round the country _pale_ thank goodnes I'm me ;)

I'm not regretting any of this though as what it has absolutely rammed home is that I like being single & in spite of the debts, underachievement with work & occasional dissastisfaction with life, I'm actually quite happy with my lot & every man that has messaged me has had some aspect to his character or profile that prevents me from wanting to take it any further than friendly online chat. ( Mr. Fabulous Body with Camper Van aside of course  & to be completely honest it's the fact that he doesnt want children & is wanting anyone from age 18  that really overrides any morals I may pretend to have :rotfl:)

Oooh sorry, I have to go & have another look at him right now ... will be back later on after a cold shower :D

Huge hugs to all, I've missed you :(

Oh dear, this is pretty much my experience on there aswell. I was hoping you might buck the trend Lula and find some quality on there, but alas not. Although your beach lunch sounds nice.

I had another classic from a guy on that website last night. An opening message of 'do you earn much?' No 'Hi', no 'How are you?' Cuts straight to the point with that question. I replied saying 'Yes, loads, now f*ck off!' Clearly, this isn't true, but hopefully he got the message. The guys on that website really are unbelievable.

Hello F Fabulous people!! I hope everyone's had a better day today and all back to feeling fabulous again!!

eco... I'm really pleased for you and your ex, I hope everything works out for you. Don't you be leaving us though!!

Lula... I think you need to PM me the name of Mr Gorgeous Personal Trainer with Camper Van so I can get him checked out ASAP !!!!

Gwen.. I'm gad you've had a great weekend. It seems like every female friend of mine on facebook went to watch Take That and the pictures are absolutely amazing! I had the opportunity to go but decided not to and now I'm gutted. I will go to their next tour but I doubt it will be anything like this one. A friend of mine has seen them 20 times now and she said this time round was the best. I don't watch wimbledon, didn't even catch any of it on TV but it sounds like you had a fab time, I'd love to go to any sporting event, especially a final.

Saying that I am off to Blackpool on Sunday for the rugby final. DD must have been a lucky mascot because they won the game the other week to get into the final. I don't understand rugby but I love the atmosphere and the perving. so I'm really looking forward to it.

I've got to dash now coz I'm babysitting for my friends little one in half an hour and I've not even had my bath yet! I'll be back later.

Had to comment on this, when I first skimmed through, obviously wasn't reading properly & thought Sarah she wanted a man with custard - I was thinking oo-eer what kind of strange fantasy is this :rotfl:

eco - Glad to hear that you have talked things through with the ex, and good luck with the second time round. :D Me and OH got it together second time round, mainly because he drove me out into the countryside to see the lunar eclipse - totally unexpected and a very big point in his favour.

Lula - Nice to have an answer for Mr Posh Town (possibly to be known as Mr Invertebrate, if that wasn't so demeaning for those with an exo-skeleton), and great that you are seeing Mr Funny. A beach picnic sounds brilliant. As for Mr Gorgeous Personal Trainer, do you really want to spend your time breathing in very hard, and trying not to let anything sag (although I suspect there isn't anything left to sag after all those pounds you've lost). ;) I speak from experience, having once dallied with a chiropodist, and spending a lot of time hiding my feet under cushions/duvets/books etc. "You have a very arched foot" is hardly the stuff of romantic sweet nothings...

Gwen - Glad you had a fab weekend, and that you are taking no nonsence from any putrid fish in the barrel.

Bowski - Enjoy watching the rugby. :p

OH finally has a net connection, so he is in his office catching up on all the work he hasn't done for the past three weeks. I am catching up on all the laundry I haven't done, and any possible surface in the house is now covered with an assortment of items NOT all of which are going into my suitcase. packingmybags.gif  It would be like one of those sessions to see how many people you can cram into a Mini. I am sure I will soon be dogdance.gifwith excitement but at the moment it is hidden beneath the largest pile of ironing I have ever seen.

Hope everyone is doing ok this evening, and that the rant room is quiet and empty. angel-smiley-015.gif

    Hi All

Hope you are all well. Had a bargainous evening, Orange Wednesday for both pizza and cinema so total was under £15. :j

Saw Sunshine Cleaning which is a lovely, thoughtful film with some very funny moments.

Work continues on our bathroom today. I now have a toilet I can sit on with ease (oh the luxury) but we have to flush with a bucket.... And I had to clean off all the plaster before I could sit on it (I know I know TMI)

Anyway the toilet was out of action for most of the day so I hope that anyone who is having a carp day can say to themselves 'well at least I didn't have to walk to Asda just to use the toilet unlike Makeup'

Lula - glad you got some sort of closure with Mr Poshtown - thank goodness you never met up with him. And enjoy beach picnic with your other PoF man, sounds like a fun thing to have planned even if nothing romantic comes out of it.

Eco - :j:j Yay for your news. I'm glad that you have been able to talk about what went wrong last time and the changes you have made. Communication is so important and it seems like this is in place in this relationship which is great! And echoing Bowski - you can't leave us....I for one need fennel updates!

Gwen -:eek::eek: I have no words but good on you for answering him properly (how can he have ever thought this was a good first line???????)

Holly - good luck with the packing. I'm rubbish at it too. I went to a very hot country earlier this year and packed three cardigans. I wore only one and that was on the plane. I was so cross as those cardis were taking up valuable shopping space!!

Bowski - Is DD mascot again on Saturday? Enjoy the match and hope the weather holds so you can tan while you perve.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Hello my lovelies,

watch out not to trip over my tongue as I left it on the floor :rotfl:bye bye Mr. CamperVan ... I have just discovered the most sexy looking man with the most 'get to the bedroom right now woman' eyes in the world

He just sent me message saying that I was beautiful ( obviously those sexy eyes have cataracts but hey, I'll accept a compliment from almost anyone :D) Sadly, I replied with the most crass message ever in the history of online dating :o:cry::o so will never hear from him again  but at least I can perv when the need arises - yes of course I have my settings on " do not allow users to know you are perving over their topless pics"

Bowski - I am compiling a perv list & will pm you tomorrow :D

I'm very chilled about meeting Mr. Funny as we've made it very clear that it's purely a friends thing... however he is very very funny & has been sending me witty & laugh out loud texts for the last 3 days.

I must get to bed now as I have a 3 hours round trip & picnic to be done between 9 & 3 tomorrow followed by DD having bessfrined round to play immediately after ..I will of course be turning up to report all

night night & hope you have a fab holiday Hollyberry - roll those tops, you get more in that way :A
