Sarah - I reckon we need a ranting, bawling suite here at SAID. It will be soundproofed, equipped with an iPod containing a mixture of cheer-yourself-up and bawl-your-eyes-out tracks, stocks of wine, chocolate and other comestibles according to the preference of members, a comfortable and stylish sofa, some tissues, a punchbag or something soft to kick, and a selection of luxury products to repair any facial damage before we leave. Shall I get it organised?

Brilliant!:rotfl: I need to up my house deposit as I am going to have a whole house based on this. :D

Well of course she's not at fabulous as you! *laughs at the very idea of it*

However, my plan is not that he spends time with you because he is drunk, just that he is too drunk to go out, lets down non fabby girlfriend who then dumps him, meanwhile Nurse ShoeGal looks after the patient who realises the next day that he has been blinkered re the non fab one and with sober eyes realises that the love of his life is under his nose. :j

Oh Sarah, if only  Don't think my life is destined to turn out like that.

Men always seem to want to be friends with me, I actually have loads of male friends, they just don't fancy me or see me as girlfriend material. I've never understood why  I'm not 'blokey', in fact I'm very girlie so I've no idea where I go wrong

Just as I'm making a mountain out of a molehill sized post, you all arrive!

makeup, you are, as we say in this house, a "lovely"; sorry to hear that you are taking the Camberwell fire to heart because of work, but I am not at all surprised, because it fits with the makeup we know here.

I am afraid that the smiley store is out of evil genius, but I can offer rant.gifinstead - for the door of the ranting suite perhaps?

Hmm, I'm the opposite. I don't think I get on with men very well at all. If I'm in a group of people I always find I get on the best with either the women or the gay guys.

I've got one straight male friend and five gay male friends.

I think that is why I'm destined to be single... I don't actually get on with straight guys?
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

You're right...that makes no sense at all.....surely between us we should be able to manage something!

It's like those magazine articles that keep promising that what you need to do is enjoy being single and 'find yourself' and that all that nonsense and then Mr Amazing will ride into your life on a white charger.

    Which is complete boll***s

I'm totally happy being single but no man has ever been amazed at my independence and single satisfaction.

Gosh, can feel a need for Hollyberry's rant room coming on!!!
