Thanks ziggles. I am refusing to even countenance not getting a new job. Something has got to change. I can't keep doing the same old thing. Hi All!
I've been at my parents and so my internet time has been a bit limited.
Plus I've been feeling a bit off - that awful fire in Camberwell has really affected me. It is hard to explain without explaining too much about my job and I'd rather keep personal details off here but it does have a bearing / relationship to my work and for some reason really got inside my head and has made me feel very down.
Although saying that I had a fab time at my parents. They took me to Ikea and I splashed out on a frame for my cross-stitch that I did a while ago. It is a pretty big frame for a not-that-big piece of work so I hope no one thinks is too big headed to give it such a massive frame :eek:
Also picked up a few kitchen bits.
We also had a wander round Bath, my Dad is retired and does quite bit of art-work and is working on print-making at the moment and had a piece in the Bath Art Society Summer Show :j I was really proud his work was chosen and it looked fab on the walls.
My mum helped me fix a broken zip on my bag and also gave me a new tapestry to start doing.
Lula - I am all for playing Nina Simone very very loudly. I love it! I love all her songs and love her voice.
I now have two days at home then off for another weekend. I've all this week off work and would be loving the lay-in although the builders are now in working on our bathroom and according to the flatmate turn up at 8am  So sounds like I'm gonna have to set the alarm to get up early and use the toilet / bath before they get in here!!!:mad:
TDQO - sounds like you are having a fab time. Good luck with your neighbours and report back
Gwen - HOW DARE YOU POP IN HERE WITHOUT GIVING US THE FULL TAKE THAT / WIMBLEDON LOW DOWN???????I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Will she be helping too? Have you met her? Can you take some wine round with you as a housewarming present and get him too drunk to go out so he spends the weekend with you instead?Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hey Ziggles
Don't be too hard on yourself.
It is very hard to focus on all that stuff.
As I type this I'm living in a shared flat with all my stuff piled up in a really really untidy fashion. I've a huge pile of stuff which I've been promising to ebay for about 6 months and haven't done one thing. I haven't been on a date for ages, I'm still entangled with an ex and never get asked out on dates. I need to lose about a billion stone but still eat carppy food.
However on the plus side:
I have a job which I like and my boss thinks I'm doing well. I have a bike which I ride to work so my health can't be all bad (?????), I have some fun friends who are very kind and some of them are going away with me this weekend to stay on a cider farm. I have learnt to enjoy doing stuff on my own and sometimes I crave the silence and the solitude (my job is very people focussed) so I don't really mind being single. And although still entangled with my ex I feel a lot more stable about the situation than I did 2 yrs ago.
And on the anniversary of the London Bus / Tube bombings which were really shocking and upsetting to me...I'm glad to be alive!
I bet you can write a similar list ...... let me think..... You are a kind thoughtful person. You had the courage to go on a dating website and followed it up with a date. You are taking action over your debts. Even if you don't post on here, think about it yourself.
It is like a few weeks ago when we posted five good things about ourselves on here.
And also let yourself have a self-pitying day every so often.
I used to like that with Nina Simone - I used to sing Love Me or Leave Me and Mood Indigo and throw all my passion into it.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
