Will she be helping too? Have you met her? Can you take some wine round with you as a housewarming present and get him too drunk to go out so he spends the weekend with you instead? :D

Love that idea - but not sure it s quite my style :D and kinda hope to be with a man who wants to be with me rather than one who is too drunk to care :rotfl::rotfl:

    And no, I haven't met her - but sure she isn't a F Fabulous as me :rolleyes::D

Plus I've been feeling a bit off - that awful fire in Camberwell has really affected me. It is hard to explain without explaining too much about my job and I'd rather keep personal details off here but it does have a bearing / relationship to my work and for some reason really got inside my head and has made me feel very down.

It was such an awful thing to happen, so sorry it has affected you personally, no wonder you feel down. Big hugs to you and it's good you have been doing nice things this week and have something to look forward to, hope you're okay.

And on the anniversary of the London Bus / Tube bombings which were really shocking and upsetting to me...I'm glad to be alive!

I bet you can write a similar list ...... let me think..... You are a kind thoughtful person. You had the courage to go on a dating website and followed it up with a date. You are taking action over your debts. Even if you don't post on here, think about it yourself.

    .

Makeup, what a lovely, thoughtful post :A

    :hello: Evening all.

Dunno what was going on last night, but I appear to have missed my daily fix of SAID due to some kind of site meltdown. How are you all? I detect a distinct shade of blue here, and it's not the blue of sunny skies. Although TDQO appears very sunny and somewhat distracted... ;)

I have started assembling my stuff to pack for my hols, and it's a frightening mountain. I am trying to kid myself that it will pack down much smaller, but I can hear a small voice in my head telling me to put that extra pair of shoes down... Anyone here good at packing light? Ready to lecture me in stern tones about taking too much? :o

I'm feeling a little bleurrgh tonight, not down or anything, but just as though I'm getting ready for a cold or something like that. I've downed as much vitamin C as I can manage, via a load of fruit, so I'm hoping that whatever it is will just pass on by quickly.

I think I am off for an early night, so I hope it's a better day tomorrow. Hope Gwen enjoyed her special extended Wimbledon. :D

Sarah - I reckon we need a ranting, bawling suite here at SAID. It will be soundproofed, equipped with an iPod containing a mixture of cheer-yourself-up and bawl-your-eyes-out tracks, stocks of wine, chocolate and other comestibles according to the preference of members, a comfortable and stylish sofa, some tissues, a punchbag or something soft to kick, and a selection of luxury products to repair any facial damage before we leave. Shall I get it organised?

Here's to a better tomorrow.

    Hello all you F_Fabulous peeps
Tried to post last night but the forums were down
Gwen - I agree with makeup - wheres the wimbledon inside info..??? It was an amazing match..
I have been lurking and reading a bit, mostly from work, drifting rather than powering through on this DF journey of mine. Feel a bit fedup with it at the moment - not enough movement for my liking :o:o
Have turned down my friends hendo (300 squid) just couldn't justify it I'm afraid  so a bit miserable about that :o
On the plus side have chucked out 3 catalogues without unwrapping them this week... avoid avoid avoid temptation......
Need to up date my siggy as have paid off £400 off my debts (loan mainly) so am now sub 5K so I should be feeling on top of the world. Think my mood is mainly to do with cash being really tight this month especially as overtime has dried up totally at work and that was providing me with some spending money last few months.... oh and have been putting on weight again and my trousers are too tight.. ho hum...

Well moan over, life is actually not that bad at all, I still have a good job which is not to be sniffed at these days. Things are going well with the boy I've been seeing- got a date at the weekend so something to look forward to :D so must drag myself out of this hormone induced misery pit and smile :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well of course she's not at fabulous as you! *laughs at the very idea of it*

However, my plan is not that he spends time with you because he is drunk, just that he is too drunk to go out, lets down non fabby girlfriend who then dumps him, meanwhile Nurse ShoeGal looks after the patient who realises the next day that he has been blinkered re the non fab one and with sober eyes realises that the love of his life is under his nose. :j
