feeling a bit perkier but think I may well be following you as regard to giving up on the other species ... maybe some people are just doomed as regards romance, & more to the point I think I am one of them.

If they like me then they are normally prats, & if I like them, then there is always a MAJOR obstacle to overcome & I'm fed up with hurdles.

Off to hang out some washing & continue to ignore the messages sent by men who live 80 miles away who think that when I say 'looking to make new friends in my local area' I actually mean ' gagging to jump into bed & then settle down with you & all your vile habits about 80 miles away from where I live :mad::rolleyes:

No offence meant sweetie, you & a few others on here are probably the only men left on the planet worthy of my attention. The rest of the species should be culled, immediately.

I agree Lula, I am sure plenty of women have a successful time with men, i honestly don't think it will ever be me.

Back to the Goddess plan and the weekly challenges to enjoy life again me thinks!

Hi all, have been unable to get on the site this afternoon, at one stage I was beginning to worry I had been banned:rolleyes:

Lula, hope you are feeling better, you are not romantically doomed:D I know the recent losers from 80 miles away (can't they read? :mad:) are extremely annoying but there are some decent ones out there too. (I am in an "every pot has a lid" mood:D) Like Hollyberry says, exes are exes for a reason, so don't look backwards, keep steaming onwards. You will get to where you want to be, so hang on to that thought.

Have done nothing today except catch up on some sleep and watch the tennis, so has been an NSD, am about to do a bit more housework type stuff. Weighed myself and am still the same, am relieved as I thought I would have put some back on, am going to be very sensible this week and have been having lots of fruit teas today. 4lbs is not a noticable loss and I need to get to at least half a stone and looser clothes to spur me on.


Today:

Evening all, after that rather shameful self pitying blip earlier I am ow fully restored to former glory.

I've actually had a very pleasing day. I spent a good couple of hours at the allotment & did some very vicious digging & then returned home with a bag of delicious new potatoes, some onions, garlic & salad leaves :j.

I'm finally up to date with all my washing & DD has very nearly finsihed the big clearout. We had a load of stuff of take to the recycling centre so went for a nice drive in the sunshine & played Nina Simone very loudly - DDs choice - & you cannot fail to be happy after that.

I have counted my blessings : 2 healthy fabulous daughters, 1 safe home, 1 safe car ( must book MOT tomorrow) 1 fairly secure job, enough money to live on & to pay towards debts, no arrears on anything, clothes to wear, food to eat, glass of wine in hand & bar of chocolate in the fridge.

I think that covers it

I have also managed to acquire some £2 coins over the weekend so my stash is now up to £22 again , sadly in order to do this I had to release all the other money in my purse so I now have 60p until thursday :rotfl:It can be done.

Hope Gwen enjoyed herself today & that everyone else is nicely chilled

I also have to do my nails.

money wise I have to wait for all my money floating out in bank land to get to were it is supoosed to me and then sort out my CC on to a 0%.

and I have to do lots of work!!!! eeK!

hi everyone!

Sorry I'm being rubbish at posting, sometimes I just can't get into it. Glad you're feeling better now Lula. I'm on POF but I don't even have my pic up and have never spoken to any potential on there but I have been to a singles event before now. I went with my sister and we had a great night, no decent blokes but had a good night with all the lasses. So if you ever get the opportunity I'd advise ya to try and get yourself along to one.

I've been feeling a bit ropey all day today, was out lastnight and didn't get in till half 4 this morning with chips and curry. It was such a great night, it was DD's football presentation first but a few of my friends came as it was also my birthday night out. I think some of the people must have thought we'd just gatecrashed coz DD spent most of the night with her Dad and his gf while me and my mates were in a different area of the room acting like children. We've had a right laugh today with all the pics/videos uploaded to facebook.

I'm not doing bad with my money but I'm not paying any extra towards my debt, I really need to get that sorted out. And I need to sort out my SOA/sig etc. I am doing well on the diet though and seem to have finally got out of my bad eating habits. I say as I've just remembered I've got cake in my fridge that I need to have with a brew before bed coz I'll not be able to have any tomorrow. Oh crikey there's just no helping some people and I'm just one of those people haha!

oh almost forgot to say I'm sooooo jealous but equally pleased for you that you got to see Brandon...What a lovely sister you have, wanna share her? lol

Right here we go...

First off a couple of apologies; I've been awfully self obsessed recently and really need to snap out of it. Second, I've realised that I haven't thanked anyone on here in aaaaages, from now on I shall try to thank each post as I read it.

I had an incredibly stressful day last Thursday as when I got into work I found that my pay had been docked by $300 :mad::mad: meaning I couldn't transfer my rent money back to the UK. I went ballistic and got onto the head of HR for the whole of Australia but didn't get a reply all day! To cut a long story short I finally got a phone call at 3pm telling me that not only would they pay me back the $300 but they would also pay me my 2wks annual leave allowance that they'd denied me at xmas meaning another $700!! :cool:

That $1000 hit my account on Saturday morning so I've now transferred $1300 to my UK account, I've never done an internet transfer before so I'm really hoping it works!

Luckily that payment freed up some cash so on Thursday I had my housemates around for drinks and we all got merrily bladdered together, my new housemate is newly single and nearly 20 as well as being rather attractive and lovely to boot Unfortunately I can't afford to get attached to anyone when I'm going home so soon but it's a nice thought...

Friday I had some friends around and we all went off to a local pub, my mate the virgin ran into this girl that he likes and managed to be a complete idiot to her (not my first choice of words...). She obviously really likes him but he was treating her like crap as he'd been told that he was too nice so girls didn't like him. Luckily I got time alone with her to put the record straight and she spoke to him while he was sober on Sunday and now they're together, awwww. He did end up vomiting off of my verandah on Friday though haha! :eek:

Then on Saturday me and my friend Ann headed into Sydney and went sightseeing, walked around the Botanical Gardens and had lunch in the shadow of the Opera House. Our hotel had a rooftop pool and hot-tub so we had a few drinks in there before heading out later
We ended up in a place that sold German beer by the litre and got pretty smashed and danced the night away.:beer: Then we took a ferry in the morning to Darling Harbour which really didn't make me feel too great! I felt worse when I realised that I’d spent over $100 on booze!
We finished off by walking around and watching the various street entertainers and taking a ride on the monorail. Then I said goodbye to Ann as she went to the airport to fly home to the UK.

I got home last night and within 5mins I had the lovely housemate knocking on my door… she invited me around for dinner and as she had an equally lovely friend standing behind her in a tiny pair of denim hotpants, who was I to refuse???

Now I’m back at work and being grumpy again :mad:

Bowski - I would seriously avoid having a photo on Plenty Of Freaks ... if you have generous assets like mine, they wont hear a word you say... :rolleyes:

Just found out there's a forum on there too & cant believe that these people say what they do in public & have photos up so that everyone knows they're sickoes

Very miffed as also discovered that someone has a username rather close to mine & terrified that people may think it's me :eek: ...

Thought for the day :

Why would a person describe themself as tall, slim & have dark hair & then post up a photo revealing that actually they look like Bill Oddie :rotfl:

It's all amusing again now rather than sad & scary
