I actually spoke to someone vaguely normal on okcupid last night, I doubt he will ever turn up again but it was nice a bit.

How do you know he isn't thinking that.
  • well on the strength of Sarah's post, I sent him a message.

I also got a right creep messaging me. sighs. got to take the rough with the smooth i guess.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi all,
been gardening most of the weekend and wore myself out, but i'm determined it's going to be bigger and better this year, or die trying, other than that i've not done alot

Hi eco re the above ^ me too :D

Most of saturday was spent in the garden apart from when I was riding my bike or shovelling a 1/4 pounder with cheese & 2 slices of pizza in my face  Oh yes, there was also another incident involving a flake easter egg :o

Sunday I did 2 hours at the allomtent & managed to bring home 6 spare strawberry plants that were running amok & 3 raspberry canes & a rhubarb thingy too :D.

Needless to say that after all the effort last week I havent shifted a single pound . Apart from the pizza dough & the burger bun I still havent had any bread, pasta or potatoes. Not sure what approach to try next to be honest, but somewhow this weight will come off .

    bye for now

Oh dear, we are brilliant aren't we:o Glad I am not the only one having "incidents."

Today I have had hot water with lemon, coffee, chicken salad, nuts. I will have fish and veg later and some cheese and nuts for nibbles. I agree that bread may well be the culprit so am following the advice (can't remember who it was) of pretending I have a wheat allergy.

Had great fun yesterday evening planning what I will do when I win a ****load of money, have been looking up personal trainers (think I will need at least 2 hours a day for 3-4 months and I will need someone who is very bossy and will not tolerate "incidents") and also some of the places I intend to go to on holiday, I think I will head to Italy first (I can take the 2 lovely pairs of shoes which arrived this morning, 1 comfy pair for sight seeing and 1 shiny pair for being glamorous in).

I just need the money to arrive now, I am definitely on my way as I found 1p on the floor this morning which is definitely a sign of more to come.:D

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I love the PMA Sarah!!

One of my friends went out while I was away with this whole 'laws of attraction' mantra whereby if you act all fabulous and confident you will draw things to you - he had a great evening and was very 'successful'.

So maybe you are attracting money to you, 1p at a time??

I have been reading the boots thread and went out on Saturday and got No. 7 Glycolic Peel for £8.80 (half price voucher), Highlights Powder for free (voucher) and Petal Blusher for free (3 for 2)

I also bought some knock-down price Pretty Polly leg shine stuff for £1.25 which looks really like some very fancy stuff I've always wanted which costs about £40.....

I've taken the extreme measure of ordering easter eggs online and getting them delivered to my sister (where I'm going for Easter) to avoid the usual issue of buying too far in advance, chocolate proves to be far too alluring and then have to buy some more again....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Evening all,

just popping in for a quick dietary declaration, you may want to sit down...

plenty of water & lemon, one cup of coffee, bowl of fruit n fibre, half a small smarties easter egg :o, 2 bowls of ice cream , ham & cheese omelette.

I think the savoury side of food is going fine (apart from saturday's burger blip), but do admit I may need to work on my sweet tooth . It's actually DD's fault; she bought herself an idpod shuffle today & we couldnt get it working. I was so miffed at being outsmarted by a small blue custard cream sized gadget that I had to keep my energy levels topped up :o. I have now managed to get it all sorted & have downloaded some terrible 70's tunes just to pay her back for making me even fatter:rotfl:She did make me laugh when emerging from the bathroom she announced that "ipods makes weeing fun"

    Will be back later

    xx
