But number one most important thing is:

    NO FREAKIN DRAMA

I'm too old for not calling, for saying things then changing mind and not telling me, for with-holding information, for all the game playing......

I am so with you on this one - I have promised myself I will never put mysef through that again! (I also lie to myself :o)

Mixed feelings on the sport debate, I have always been a bit wary of men who don't like sport, it seems sort of odd to me! And as a huge footie fan myself I can end up being the one boring the pants of everybody :D Actually, I have been told that my detailed and somewhat geeky knowledge of footie can put men off - as I often know more than they claim to know :rotfl:
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

Problem is you can't tell at first. I mean it isn't like height or a love of sports or something which you can suss out on the first date. They sneakily keep it hidden until you are hooked!!!

I know what you mean. And as a huge footie fan yourself you would probably need someone at least a bit into it!

The only sport my Dad was into was Formula One so Sundays did often mean watching the Grand Prix on telly but I just wasn't bothered and so would often just go to my room or do something else.

I suppose for me it would be fine providing he didn't expect me to go along!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

It's a shame toxic men don't come with some sort of warning label

This really is the number one thing, not doing that again, ever. Makes me feel faint just thinking about it.
and the conversations are soooooo dull - my office is full of footy fans and it drives me insane. All I know about Ronaldo is that he was snapped in LA wearing short pink shorts...I'm happy to discuss that! But no one mentions that in the endless conversations they've been having about him over the past week!!!!

Grrr! My office is exactly like that too:mad: Sooooooo boring.

I think liking sport is fine, it's the obsession with it that annoys me, especially football. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think the one clue that you are with the right one is the complete absence of any game playing. I do agree though, it is something they keep hidden until you are hooked, then you are trapped in the awful situation of not quite knowing where you are, spending hours waiting for a text and all the time thinking he's such a nice person and if only you could get it back to how it was in the beginning.:mad::mad:

That is exactly the situation I have been in so many times. The last time I hung in for an insane amount of time just waiting for it to get back to the beginning.....like 2 years :mad:

It's not that hard! You are managing to do it without that button which is far more impressive! (You just click the button on the posts that you want to multi quote and then hit reply and it does it all for you!)

    My list would be:

    Nice person
    Likes travelling
Doesn't tell me what to do or even worse how to do things that I can do perfectly well myself
Has no fixed idea on what womens / mens jobs are (I'm nothing like a 50's housewife)
    Does interesting stuff
    No Toryboys
    Pref no kids

But number one most important thing is:

    NO FREAKIN DRAMA

I'm too old for not calling, for saying things then changing mind and not telling me, for with-holding information, for all the game playing......

That's my OH. All of that list. My, we have good taste!

Hey Hollyberry, I'm in London so if your OH is ever visiting Chelski / Arsenal or any of the others (I've no idea who is in Premiership - Fulham?? West Ham?? Millwall??) let me know. Would love to do coffee!!

Sounds great. I'll look at the fixtures and find out when he'll be going to London. It will definitely be for West Ham or Fulham.

I think we should design a nice tattoo for them. Something like the biohazard marking. Then anyone encountering a toxic man (or woman, we're not sexist here) can impose a mandatory marking scheme to warn off the rest of us. :D
