Lol, well I've got my &more card. Yes, an Amex goldcard wouldn't go amiss. Ideally a nice house, I could move into and rent my hole out...now I really am dreaming.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

Don't you think though, that if you met someone vaguely suitable the list would be binned because the list would have been met? Some of the less important things might be scrapped, but really it would be binned because he was funny, intelligent, caring, loyal etc, etc. Maybe you wouldn't be thinking about it though, just thinking 'he's lovely....'
That's true, as long as the main qualities were there that would be more than enough. I am allowed to wish for rich and hates sport though:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

No, but I have with ones who are currently coming in very useful in helping me decide what I don't want.
I think one problem is that I have never lived with anyone so I don't really know what to ask for there. Has anyone got any tips for that?
I think that's down to personal taste. I like to live in a clean fairly tidy & uncluttered environment so wouldnt want to live with a superslob but I'd happily wash up after a guy who was happy to cook regularly.
sorry cant think of anymore, my bed is calling me now. Dont have to get up tomorrow morning - bliss
night night

Yes, I could cope with sport but not football. I am also hoping for a large mansion with a huge garden. Someone who can speak another language. Can cook. Lots of things. The more I can tick off the better, not saying they have to have everything, but I do like to have a plan:D

- Being approximately as tidy/untidy as you are, to avoid disputes
- Not prone to looking at you helplessly when a duvet cover needs changing
- No duvet hogs, wriggly sleepers or snorers (excused when they have a cold)
- Someone you know will take care of you when you are ill
I am trying to explain that making a bed is not a mysterious feminine art.

Good morning to you fabulous ones
Yet another 7 suggested profiles have hit my inbox  I'm actually quite enjoying this; it's kind of 'browsing incognito'. I havent paid a subscription, uploaded a photo ( wouldnt have a clue how to anyway ) or written anything personal - just completed their questionnaire which is actually quite comprehensive.
Sarah, I know exactly how you feel about all this but I think it would be comforting for you to see who is actually out there - there are many different varieties & so many men in theei 40s who havent yet but still want to have kids. Sadly, these are no use to me as that is on my list of non negotiables .
Girls, are you sure you dont want a man who plays a sport ? I'm of the opinion that it's very healthy for them & the relationship. Separate interests are crucial unless you want to spend the rest of your life being shadowed. I'm a believer in the quality of time spent together rather than the quantity.
Im currently quite taken with the high earning, tall dark haired & brown eyed man I've come across ... if only he didnt eat kosher. Life without bacon sandwiches just isnt for me.
Also had to reject a very lovely sounding man on the grounds of his religious beliefs. It does seem trivial if you're not a practising faith person yourself, but there are huge & very fundamental differences between faiths & their core values which do have implications for a relationship.
Of course, so far I'm flying blind as can only view very blurry out of focus photos unless I subscribe but you get a good idea by height & weight & you know the ones who deal with stress by eating are just going to be a bad influence :rotfl:
Still, when it comes to the living arrangements I'm with Shoe Gal - I like the idea of having a second home to visit without any of the responsibilities
Best go see what's happening in the kitchen; DD is dressed as a ladybird & making fairy cakes
bye for now

Hi!
Internet dating is a rather weird thing I think Lula. It feels to me, sometimes like shopping for a boyfriend. You can sort of dismiss people on all sorts of things. Of course, in real life if you met them through friends or work or whatever, you'd get to know them properly. It's a bit harsh sometimes, but then other people are doing exactly the same to you. I've certainly developed a thicker skin I think from doing it.
I would like a guy who enjoys sport. I don't want to have to entertain someone all the time and I think separate interests are healthy. I just don't want to be dragged round the country every weekend to watch some football team. If they enjoyed any other sport I'd be happy with that. Especially Formula One, I'd really like to go to a Grand Prix (if they still exist, lol).
Anyway, better get my butt into gear and get something done.

I'm absolutely with you on the separate interests, and it does give you a chance to have some "me" time. I sometimes go on the away trips so that I can go shopping/meet a friend/go to somewhere on my "must see" list while OH is at the match.Anyone who has a Premiership team nearby, and fancies a coffee next season, let me know.
