Hi
Quiet on here. How's everybody doing?
I've not had a brilliant week. I've felt absolutely exhausted. Eyes are feel sore with hayfever I think and I feel humungous. Haven't got much done on the debt free (or any other) front, so feel like I'm not getting anywhere at all. I got a letter from Scottish Power asking me to put my meter readings in online. Something I'm dreading, because I'm pretty sure I must have a massive gas and electricity bill. I really hate being cold and if I'm honest, I'm fairly wasteful with energy (don't switch stuff off at plugs etc) - please don't lynch me. I'm trying to be better and sent off for an electricity meter with the People the other week. Hopefully I'll get one and if I can see what its using right in front of me, I'll cut back.
Also, how long is this month? Will it ever end??? Feels like forever since I got paid and I'm so bored with staying in, racking my brains for ways to get myself out of this mess.
Some good things did happen this week though. My boss seems fairly impressed with me at the moment and my nails look fab for cheap.
I've printed off some MBing info today aswell. I really want to get on with that when the football season starts. I never ever thought I'd be looking forward to the start of the football season!!! I printed off your 'Making a bit extra' thread too Buffy, thought that might help get me started with laymans terms, rather than all this 'WR', 'SNR', 'reload' jargon.
Right I'm off to try and do something, anything at all to feel like I've done something.
Hope you've all had good weeks!

Have just been to do my weekly food shop, ended up as £19.98, so am very happy with that:D Got some bogofs and reductions and luckily no cakes or biscuits fell in the basket for the first time ever.
Have just had roast chicken with bread and butter and fruit salad.
So, my 5 good things for today:- weekly food shop was under £20
- closed Barclaycard
- food cupboard looking nicely ordered
- my favourite expensive jam was bogof
- scales seem to show I have lost 2lbs (will check properly on Sunday)

That's brilliant Sarah. I popped to the shops tonight and somehow a box of Magnums ended up in my basket. I haven't had one yet. But maybe that's because I got an Oreo McFlurry from McD's instead! Eeek!Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

I know what you mean, hate waiting for my pay to come in so I can move some money around and increase my pitiful house savings. Am also always racking my brains for ways to get out of it.
Just keep reminding yourself that you can only work with what you have and if you can get to the end of the month without adding to your debt then you have done brilliantly.
Good luck with the MBing, looks far too complicated and frightening for me to understand or attempt but I think people do make quite a bit from it.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I know, I feel like I'm wishing my life away, waiting for payday. This month I am literally counting down (13 days..). I guess it has been a bit expensive. I went to the chiropodist twice, had a cheap pedicure and manicure, paid for my London train tickets and there was something else I can't even remember now.
I know I'm trying to avoid McD's too, but sometimes I really cannot be bothered sorting food out when I get in late on a Friday. Admittedly the Flurry wasn't necessary, but it was nice, had crushed up Oreo's in and chocolate sauce! Yum.
The Magnums are in the freezer, love the white chocolate ones, but can't fit one in tonight. I've got to confess I also treated myself to a horsey mag - naughty Gwen. However, I've just had a quick read and it has cheered me up. Going to get my back fixed and get riding again.
I've been going to do Matched Betting literally for years. I used to read about it though and because I didn't get it right away I'd give up. Finally I decided that I was sure I must be able to get my head around it and I read the instructions twice in a week and the second time, it just clicked. Now I'm pretty sure I understand the concept, but I don't understand all of the jargon yet and I'm a bit scared of being caught out by some tiny bit of smallprint, but I will do one bet at a time and see how I go. Roll on August!
Right, I'm off to the Nectar website to see how many points I have and what I can get. Hoping to see some 1 point = 1 grand in cash offer, but it's unlikely. Might resubscribe to Glamour though.

Am fighting the urge to open my sealed pot piggy just so I can put it in the bank to boost my pitiful and alarming house savings. They are supposed to be opened on 1st December but as it is all going in the house savings anyway I don't know whether to cheat just so I can make my sig look a little bit better:oPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
