Never fear Shoe Gal, I am a permanent fixture in the "could do better" category:D

Phew  That's all right then. I promise I won't be showing anyone up.:p

makeup - I didn't think of the massage, but you're absolutely right. The chiropractor used to cost me a fortune, so I've been sticking to the exercises the physio taught me. Massage would be fab, though.

Am most annoyed now, I have just checked quidco and all the things that had validated and were supposed to pay out in May have not been paid. icon8.gif I have been waiting since December for some of it and they keep changing the month they are going to pay, but now it still says May and they have not paid it.icon8.gif

I should have had around £75 paid this month and although I did expect to miss the deadline for it actually being sent to my bank, I thought I would get it for June. I have £125 validated in all, I just hope it comes this month. I have only had £44 actually pay out this year so far. icon8.gif

Sarah, my home page says I haven't been paid but my e mail says I have?
    (25.95!) have you checked your e mail?xx

must read the rest of thread now
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Do you read a lot of magazines? You could get one of the clubcard deals where you get a magazine subscription for a year, I am saving my vouchers for that, then you get a nice freebie through the door every month :j

Ha, ha, yes! My subscription to Marie Claire is still going though, not sure when that runs out. I'd like to resubscribe to Glamour, but Tesco don't do it, I think I did that with Sainsburys Nectar points before. I need to look into that. I'm thinking about using some for going to an exhibition or something in London when I go down for Wimbledon.

On the subject of magazines, I've heard on the grapevine/read somewhere on this forum that there is a free Benefit BadGal mascara with Glamour next month. It's out 4th June I think. I wonder if it'll be a full size one...I hope so, Glamour do the best freebie's.

    Hi Holly

I went to the local college last year for pedicures about every 3 weeks during the summer. I'm rubbish at painting my own toenails and it's only about 6 pounds for a pedicure there. They did really well and they can't go too far wrong with nails. I had a manicure one time too. I wouldn't let them near my hair either, I'm quite fussy about my hair and that'd terrify me. I'd consider a facial though. In fact, I'm going to try and get an appointment for next week.

That sounds great; I will see what I can find out about ours, and go for a manicure. I don't think I dare go for the pedi as I am so ticklish, I think I might end up kicking someone by mistake.:o:p

I have thought about that but never looked into it.

I would be interested in getting a massage on the cheap... I should definitely look into it.

I've had problems with my back in the past and have really benefited from osteopathy / chiropractic treatment but it is very expensive and I've often thought that I'd like to go to a school or training centre for free / cheap training! They must need people to work on!!!

Have you got private healthcare or anything through work? I was just going to go to the chiropractor when I got some money together (God knows when then), but I rang up and I can claim for it as long as I have been referred by the GP. I have an apt with GP tomorrow to get referred.

They were very good. Perhaps *not quite* as good as going to a proper beauty place, but a hell of a lot better than I could do, nicer to be have somebody else do your pedicure for you, but not pay 20 quid plus for it. Takes a bit longer than at a proper place, but for 6 or so quid, you can't grumble. I highly recommend it as a cheap treat, give it a try.

Ooh yes, had heard of this one and going to treat myself to 2 if i can find them (this is how all my DFW plans fall apart;)) I remember I got the 3 Benefit lip glosses the day they came out and they seemed to be like gold dust after the first day. (they are still unopened:o) Also had some lovely Nails Inc nail polish which has converted me to them forever. Will try Tescos as I have a 25 point voucher for buying a magazine there.

I think it is the full size one.

Ha, ha! Me too, I got one of each colour of those lipglosses! Get them opened, they are fab! I only got one of the nail polish's and haven't even used it yet.

I was just thinking that I'm running low on mascara and don't want to buy another one or start using my YSL everyday (no, I should save it for all those social occasions...), so I'll get a couple I think.
