    Hello

How is everybody? Sorry for taking over the thread with my lovelife woes yesterday. Feel quite a bit better today. I didn't wear anything fab, but I had one of those bizarre 'good-hair' days that hardly ever happens, so I felt pretty good anyway. Good day at work and my feeling today is - s0d him! It helps that I got myself back on the tinternet dating last night and a guy I've been emailing on and off, got in touch again. Plenty more fish and all that...

On with the moneysaving. Not had too good a day on that front. Got myself 2 coffee's at work and big slab of chocolate cake (I was still eating my way through my sorrows at that point). I'm going to check my internet banking and do some clicking in a bit though.

TDQ - How's it going with that girl?

YOU GO GIRL! and other similar motivational phrases.

And a Yay for good hair day :j:j (sadly through gritted teeth, my fringe is causing me much trauma at present!)

Gwen - Glad to hear that you are feeling better AND that it's a good hair day. I'm jealous - mine is in desperate need of a haircut, and is currently stuffed on top of my head in a casually ruffled/badly misbehaving (delete as appropriate) fashion.

    Take care x

Glad you are feeling better gwen icon7.gif , am jealous of the good hair day, I never have those.

Today on the debt busting front I have
    • put coins in the piggy
    • £2 coin in pot
    • checked pigsback and quidco
    • read papers online
    • NSD
    • done some washing at 30
    • store cupboard meals
On the food front I have had toast, tea, coffee, chicken salad, beans on toast, yoghurt, apple and a banana.

Am feeling down in the dumps again, feel like crying but not sure why. Anyway, I am watching Britain's Got Talent and then am going to get into bed and read a bit more of my book. I went to John Lewis earlier and spent some time drooling over all the lovely things I could have if I was not in this mess, was planning how everything would fit into my house when I finally get one. It just feels so far away. icon9.gif Grrrrr. When I get my house it will be furnished entirely by John Lewis and M&S. icon7.gif

I need to keep reminding myself about working with what i have, it's nearly the end of the month so I will be able to see then if I can make any overpayments to cc, if not I will reming myself I have met all the minimum payments, put coins in the piggy, £2 coins in the pot, had money from quidco ( expecting £3 ish woo hoo:D), am one month closer to paying my loan and overdraft offand paid my overtime into my savings. Nothing massive but I am going in the right direction.

When I was typing it I did think, "gosh, that actually sounds like a lot.":D I suppose it is really, and if I can keep it up till the end of the year I will have halved my overdraft and be 6 months closer to the end of the loan, have a fat piggy pot :D, some more savings and some more quidco money (I have £120 pending and need to get car insurance next month). Just need to make inroads into that pesky Barclaycard. If I could clear that and do the above I would be very happy. :jAm feeling more positive already.:D Looks like the little things really do add up. icon7.gif

I agree with Shoegal - you've done lots this month Sarah - you should feel proud of these small steps, they are what is going to get you there in the end!!

I had a baked sweet potato for my dinner tonight which I think is better than a normal potato but I had plenty of butter and salt on it so have cancelled out the good stuff.

However my Overeating Addiction book is arriving tomorrow (£5.05 on Amazon and had a £5 voucher from doing surveys!) so won't be eating any more carp once read it!!!!

I was debating whether to get that as I have £20 pigsback vouchers for amazon (only took a year and a bit to do all the clicks:rolleyes:) so please let us know if it is any good. I was also looking at the Kim and Aggie book (am having a bizzare urge to start adding to stockpile of things I already have for my house *note to self, get house first:rolleyes:), it's odd really, I am always looking at the amazon website, but as soon as I can get some free books I can't decide what to get.

Good evening to all you F fabulous people,

Hope everyone feeling a bit more cheered up now. I confess to having spent a few rather self indulgent days over the week end.

There have been many incidents; involving wine, southern comfort, a whole bottle of dark rum :o a pizza & some male company ;) - not necessarily together or in that order.

By the way I think eupho ( hello ) speaks much sense. I always wear perfume & having spent much of last night tottering around trying to dance with bottle of rum I have concluded that I am very much out of practice in my heels so have now decided to wear them all the time in the house. So, inspite of being sat at the pc & wearing a pair of rather too comfortable combats I am also in a rather gorgeous pair of wedges.

My dancing antics were throughly absorbed by DD who was taken swimming with a friend today. When I picked her up, the friends mother told me that she had to smother her laughter when DD emerged from the changing room & attempted to sashay down the steps to the car in a pair of my heels that she'd stashed in her swimmming bag :rotfl:

Must now catch up on all other news

    bye for now
    lula
    xx
