Helloooo
I still haven't spoken to the checkout chick but a new girl has moved in with the newly-single hottie in my building and we're having a party on sat... can you say drunken groping???The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Dear TDQ,
you are a shining example of the saying that all young men ever think about is sex :rotfl:0 -

If you ask them all out, one of them is bound to say yes(hopefully not the one with the white stick).

Have done some of the above and have now made the stupid mistake of emptying my underwear drawer, far too much stuff in there. Will have a good declutter, am trying to remind myself that I feel better when I don't have lots of stuff to feel suffocated by, so shall keep the lovely stuff and throw everything else out.
Also am reminding myself that having less stuff here will make it much easier when I do finally move out. :jSo it's all good and I shall have to crack on.
edit: done:D Have filled half a bin bag, my underwear is tidied neatly away and found 2 bras with labels still on which will never fit me (34C, what was I thinking?) so they can go to the charity shop. *Curses carppy tecnological inability to ebay stuff.*
Have some vests and socks still in packs which I will store at the top of the wardrobe, which itself needs a declutter. So that will be my next job. At this rate I will be able to move house at a moment's notice.:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
The top of the wardrobe is done, but unfortunately it has made me notice that the bottom needs doing as well.:o My room doesn't look any tidier because all the tidying that has been done is in drawers and cupboards. Am on a decluttering rampage again though, will do bottom of wardrobe and then see if I can get rid of some more clothes and bag up for charity shop.
A lot of the things at the top of the wardrobe were bagged and tagged clothes, it has reminded me gain of all the nice things I have. Grrrrr. However, if I keep to my baby steps plan of 1lb a week, I may be able to wear some of them by the end of the summer. I am counting all this decluttering as exercise;).Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Done:D I only have a tiny wardrobe so not too difficult. Have cleared a big pile of boxed shoes into the wardrobe which has given ne a bit more floor space. I still need to go through the clothes, I really struggle with that because I think, "oh, it will come in useful at sometime," when in reality it never will. I need to stick to the mantra, have nothing in your home that you do not know to be either useful or beautiful (think that's it). I especially need to apply it to my wardrobe.
Am now going to move the clothes and bedding storage boxes into the shoe space and tidy the magazine rack and my bedside cabinet.
Sorry for boring you all with my housework, but writing it down helps me to get it done.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Hey Sarah
You've been going at the decluttering brilliantly. You're inspiring me to get back to it.
I was really good at the earlier part of the year and got a lot done but I need to get back to it as there are lots of random piles of carp that I needed to sort out.
And a huge tower of magazines...if I'm not careful I'll turn into one of those old ladies that dies in a fire because their flat is full of piles of magazines and papers.
I've had such a rubbish and stressful day at work ...I need to chill out properly tonight. Thank goodness for Gossip Girl tonight!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Thanks makeup, I was also good at the start of the year and have accumulated piles of carp again, I saw someon'e sig on here somewhere that said, "Don't put it down, put it away," which is a good idea but I find it difficult to keep on top of things like that which is how the carp piles up.

Boo to rubbish day at work, trashy tv is the perfect antidote. Don't forget The Apprentice too:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
