It's infuriating isn't it.will finish decluttering over the next couple of days and if it hasn't turned up I will get a new one on Saturday after I have been paid. At least it gives me the excuse to get a new colour and I can go through quidco

Morning all, hope it is nice and sunny where you are, is a bit rubbish here and no good for my washing.
Just been to the dentist, luckily I didn't have to pay today as I have a bit more to be done and it can be paid for at the end, am not sure of the cost but bound to be huge.
Am hoping work is okay for the next few weeks so i can pay it from my current account and not have to resort to the cc.
I want to carry on with the decluttering but I am off out for lunch and then on to work later so will have to put it off until Friday, might try to fit a bit in after work while I am in the mood.
I took back the trousers I bought last week as they were too far big and swapped them for a smaller size a couple of days ago, have just tried them on hoping to wear them today, they are tiny.:rolleyes::rolleyes: I couldn't even do the zip up. I cannot believe the difference between 2 sizes can be so big. So they will have to go back, which I suppose is good from an MSE point of view, but very annoying as I wanted a nice pair that fit me now.
Am hoping for an inexpensive day, don't need to spend much except on my lunch and will take snacks to work to avoid snack machine.
Hope everyone has a good day xxxPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Good luck Rosa! Hope it all goes well!!!
Gwen - thanks for your post. It wasn't a meeting, it's a bit complicated to explain but I was arranging a job to be done that requires several things to happen at once. And most of it isn't my job! Aargh! Anyway so far so good - at least I haven't heard anything bad so far!!! Fingers crossed, touch wood and all other available superstitions. ....I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Good luck Rosa, although by now you've probably done your exam.
Got to go to work tomorrow and off for a drink after so should have a laugh, couldn't do pen-y-gent today it was so misty up there I'd have been wondering around and getting lost so give it up half way up, and I thought I'd walked my new boots in enough, got the blisters to prove I didn't.0 -
Thanks all :grouphug:
Hopefully your good wishes seem to have worked as the paper was OK after all. I think I've passed - certainly seem to have gone about things the same way as everyone else in the exam. And realised it's the last written exam I have to do for that course so v happy to get that done!
Have been v good and came home without any major shopping, as couldn't be bothered with the crowds. Will pick up something for the house tomorrow as a reward for putting self through the exam.
Makeup I hope your work stuff turns out well and Eco I've heard marvellous things about Compeed blister plasters... Sarah I hope the dentist was OK and has your ipod arrived back yet?

Hello
So much going on! Well done on the exam Rosa - treat yourself now. And you must be so relieved that your friend has the all-clear. Brilliant news!
No ipod Sarah? Boo! It can't have fallen down the back of anywhere or under anywhere? That's so annoying. Good luck with your ipod searching aswell Buffy. I'm tempted to check where mine is, even though I hardly ever use it!
makeup - Hope everything goes well with the work situation. Bit annoying given most of it isn't your job anyway!
I've had quite a good day. Hair was shocking, but you can't have everything. Actually had quite a nice chat with my Dad last night and he didn't p*** me off for once. I got loads done at work today. I found out I can see a chiropractor about my back through my private healthcare. So I can get my back sorted out (for free!) and can get horse riding again (finances permitting). I will finally book that climbing course too - lots of fit men there I expect. In addition to the new guy, I attempted to resurrect a couple of old possibilities on the internet front from before things got going with Gavin. One has replied suggesting we meet up, so things are looking up already!
My v.sweet work colleague gave me her 5 pound M&S voucher so I went and bought a new set of underwear I've had my eyes on for ages. I got the jackets from Next and Oasis aswell (I hate trying stuff on in shops, it's always hot and I like to think about things anyway). The Next one is made of this horrible shiny fabric and the Oasis one is sort of too short?! Might save me some money, but where can I find a nice normal jacket? I'll continue the search.
Hope you've all had good days. I'm having curry for tea - yay!

Hi everybody
I've had an OKish day too. Had the afternoon off (was supposed to be to go to United's victory parade ) so went and had my nails done instead. Was feeling a bit fed up with myself and in need of a change - I now have orange glitter instead of my usual French!
Night out tomorrow, know I will end up spending loadsbut I am really looking forward to it

Hey All
Thanks for the thoughts about my work thing. It actually worked out ok...more or less. The main thing is resolved but there are lots of little things that sill need to be done and I know I am going to be on the phone a lot tomorrow to sort them out. I spent so much time on hold today....although used time wisely by filling out Onepoll surveys - got to my £30 finally so just another tenner and I can take the money and run.
Went out tonight with a friend and we went to La Tasca using 50% off and bill came to £10 each as we weren't on the booze. Such a bargain! And yummy!
Rosa - glad the exam went well. When do you get results?
Gwen - make sure you report back on internet dating!
Eco - ouch!
Shoegal - oh dear! But :j to manicure - especially orange glitter....
Sarah - big sympathies for dentist. And :j for waterstones voucher. I cashed in one of the survey sites I was doing and got a £10 boots voucher today!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
