I'm doing an OU course at the moment, it's hard and the next bit is £2k and I need a placement for it - sounds impossible. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

hello
nice to see a couple of newbies - welcome aboard:beer:
Just having lunch (burgers chopped through salad - although I ate most of the salad while I was waiting for burgers to cook... ). Been lurking the last couple of days as not much to post about at the minute. Managed to get out and about for a stroll with Hubbles & Nathan yesterday - we were out for about 2.5 hours in glorious spring sunshine. Other than that not up to much.
I'm sorry to report that the card from you all seems to have vanished into the Royal Mail black hole... a big thank you anyway for the thought.
Back to lurking now...

ahhhhhhh yes, the card - blimey, the alcohol had killed all memory of signing that!! :rotfl:
I've been reading a thread on bikini waxing. I'd love to try a salon waxing rather than shaving (probably on my legs to start!) but I've never had the nerve as beauty salons scare me at the best of times!"Stay Wonky":D

Afternoon All! Another quick nip on, read thread, leave brief message, then nip off again! HOpefully I'll have more time tomorrow and then Friday morning to see how you all are!
But for today: I hope you are well and am pleased to hear Bookie that the sun is finally out for you! Been lovely in west suffolk all day today and I hope it continues! Squizz - have some wine, go on, go on, go on, go on...etc! I had a glass of wine measured out with the recommended Rosemary Conley portion pot (another way for her to make money!) and it was a pathetic amount, so I sipped at it for ages and managed to make it last an hour or so! So you could try that - measure 125ml of wine and make it last! Maz - Hope you're having a good week so far (just 24 hours to go!!) I'll come with you to the stationery fair thing - sounds great and as most people know my favourite four letter word is FREE! Daggit - Love the avi and hope the meal on Saturday goes well. BB - well done on the observation and I hope the observer's pizza turned out OK!

Stop "whispering", it hurts my eyes :rotfl:Anyway, hiya Luc :hello:
Bess - I have decided to go to the pub so will have a small glass there (I think pub small measure is 125ml?)... and then probably wander home and be asleep by 7pm
Catch you all tomorrow xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
BB - they smart somewhat and I have always been braver with my legs than under my arms and I have to say the thought of someone going 'down there' doesn't appeal! But I suppose it would keep things trim for a while and save getting a rash!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

How about trying to find someone that has their own business and you go to their home to have it done, shouldnt be so daunting then. Fingers Crossed:rolleyes:0 -
We have lots of learners I could get a cheap wax from as work puts them all through their hairdressing/beauty/waxing/nails etc NVQ's but the thought of an inexperienced if keen 18 year old and a tub of molten wax puts me off having it done on the cheap!
It's bizarre really, there's stuff I could reveal about myself that would make you go  piercings and thenat why I would be so scared of a bikini/brazilian wax or that test that makes many of us go _pale_ and run in the opposite direction to the practice nurse!! :rotfl:
I just find beauty salons intimidating. I was used as a model when we did our teaching assessment on our course and one is now teaching beauty and she did a 30 minute session on giving an indian head massage. I have always wanted one and it was an amazing sensation when she was demonstrating on me. I said I would consider having one after that until she told me that it involved removing my top and that was that - not doing that now!!!"Stay Wonky":D

I've never had my bits waxed... i don't have any on the tops of my legs or tummy.... but i would like the main area to be tidier... is that TMI!!??
just don't fancy whipping it all out for someone who is probably very skinny and orange and under 21 to laugh at when i leave the room!
QB - looking like another good 3lb off this week i think... how about you?
Luc - the card will arrive one day with a demand for you to pay the shortfall plus a pound for the privilledge! cause come to think of it, beanie gave me a stamp, but i bet the card was bigger than standard size!! Glad to hear you're doing alright, something wrong with burger cut up into a salad though!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
