See what you should have done is worked out your hourly rate and come up with a plan to bring more than that in free stationary/cost savings for the company.....Can you not go in your lunch hour..

And when you come back, taunt them with the freebies and refuse to talk about what was there, apart from laying hints of cost-savings...

Hi Sorry was 'running' a focus group...

Right muscle memory is when your muslces remember things that they have done before - so if you've trained for one marathon its much easier to train for another because the muscles get back in shape much faster - see Rich's progress on the thread vs mine - the difference in mileage means I should be about 25 minutes behind him, but he is about 40 minutes ahead (maybe more) because of muscle memory!

Fartlek is pre intervals - its a non formailsed speed session that involves running between two points faster than your usual pace and then slowing down between two other points to slower than you usual pace - the idea is its fun and it mimics racing (where you have to speed up to pass people) and it builds your oxygen debt ability (i.e. you can run for longer when you are more tired because your body becomes better at managing lack of oxygen). Intervals do the same but work more quickly - they are tougher to finish and should only be attempted once farlek is mastered for 5-6 miles!

Right enough running talk - my leg hurts! ;)

Off into town now for quick shop, whizz round Homebase for some spring bedding plants in advance of weekend visitors, then off to Hospital to get results of biopsies taken in Jan!!! Wish me luck, SRM xxxxx

Ooh , just remembered I wanted to ask which board would be the best place to ask about an outfit of shysters called HFO services? My husband paid an outstanding bill belonging to his brother, but HFO have put something nasty on our credit files. Have writted to Experian disputing it, but they replied saying HFO stand by their comments so they are unable to remove it . We paid someone elses debt so we wouldn't get any adverse credit ratings, and in doing so have incurred one!!!! Grrrrr....
