By the way, TM - do you think it might now be a good time to PM your mobile number to those of us who are coming ;)

And anybody who's not made it completely clear that they will be attending - this is probably a good time to mention it so that TM can contact you too :D

I shall be on it this evening BRzl :D Will have to find my phone first - mainly cos it's got Nelski's number on it too - and there's no point me giving you the number if I can't find it :rotfl:

I was thinking ....carefully of course.... that because we shall all be arriving at different times on Friday, shall we just gather in the hotel bar and then mooch out to find a local eatery? Also,I quite fancy the famous Bispham chippy on Saturday? Do we all want that for tea? (we're in Lankyshur, so it's not called dinner :D)

For those arriving on Saturday - any ideas on time? We could then agree a suitable point to meet, even if it's the hotel, say between 12-1pm (or whatever) then we could go for some lunch/shopping/site seeing etc afterwards?

Let me know - I'm off to find my phone and start pm'ing people.
  • My train gets in at around 12.20, I don't know if there is anyone else coming in at lunchtime but if it's just me I'd be happy to phone either of the mobiles, find out where you all are and meet you wherever you've got to so there's no need to stay in one spot waiting -

If the people who are visiting for the day phone us when they arrive,we can let you know where we are. I fpeople are arriving intermittnely throughout the day then that would be easier for all involved I think - so we don't end up sitting in one place for ages.

If anyone wants to pm me their number, then I'll at least be able to call you if needed.

    Cheers xx

only one more day to go ,I am so looking forward to meeting all of you.
I have never been to Blackpool before so it will be a new experience.
A ride on the tram is something I am looking forward to as it's been many years since I was on a tram. I loved them when I was little as they made a great clattering sound. I always thought it wonderful that the driver just went to the other end to drive back on himself.
So a trip on the tram is a must, and a plate of fish & chips at the other end sounds good to me. I just hope that the weather is kind to us. At the moment here in Kent it is glorious sunshine. See you all tomorrow guys

Ok I'm in two minds about coming now. My friend has fallen down the stairs and broken both her ankles and needs emergency surgery. So I don't know if I can come now as I'm really nervous and scared as don't know any of you and I also feel now I'm going to be burden as both my friend and I had health probs so we were gonig to stick together most of the time and go to sleep if we needed to etc. I feel now I will be a burden and if I need to go to sleep it will be inconvient etc :(:(:(
