Talking about bras - I found this on the BBC News website - now I honestly wasnt looking for bras, I was looking for news in general.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8035496.stm

Now this might also be handy especially if you don't charge extra for larger sized bras.:D

    Morning Everyone

Bright sunshine here today and woke up feeling quite motivated. Have a few things I want to get done round the house today so aim to spend 2 hours in the office but they will be 2 good hours :D

First job though will be to ring the bank as we have gone slightly over the OD limit, clients money has come in a day late this week. Shouldnt be a problem as money is going in from chaps today. However wont be able 2 pay 2 blokes wages till it goes in, they will be paid today and on faster payments - their official payday isnt till friday but I just know they will ring complaining this morning. I pay them early because of problems like this & they will always have their money by friday but they get used to the day early

Anyway not much I can do so will get that tel call out of the way early as I hate talking to banks.

Cant comment too much on websites - we dont have on. If/when we expand later this year we have decided to have one then though we wont get much business from it. Will try and have a look at peoples websites later.

Anyway off to do the daily juggle between office work, housework and kids.

Wordsmith: Balcony bras - still give good coverage and full support but a full cup bra will give complete coverage. A lot of people do not like the full cup bra as it makes you feel like you are in a straight jacket!! Yes, I see what you mean about put a page on about different styles and that people do not know what they are. Something to think about.

I read that about M&S too, it was in the paper yesterday. The thing is we have to charge more for the larger sizes in some lines too - I think here are about 3 or 4 Fantasie bras, but they are constructed different and use more material. I myself would not expect to pay the samefor an A cup bras as I do for a K cup bra because once you get past a GG the construction is so much more. That being said, many of them are the same price.

Horace, I design the site myself and I am always changing the colours, the header and how it looks. I did this one a few weeks back. I like what I have now though so I will not be changing it for a bit. I think......

Today is paperwork day. Going to try and not get distracted because I have loads to do, I am aiming to get up to date as well as my year end, VAT and Annual accounts done today.

Also have a doctors appointment for this afternoon so hope they are not running too late. I can't believe I have to give them a stamped self addressed envelope so I can have my smear results sent to me though.

Hmmm just been sent a really nice document (text of a austrian craft website) to translate by an italian agency Ive not worked for before. However the text of the email is in Italian. If google translate is correct, which it isnt most of the time, they want me to translate the whole thing for 8 euros a page, minus 15% for tax (which I cant claim back as I'm not VAT registered). There is a lot of text per page, virtually no margins and the total is 5.5k words. If I'm understanding the Italian correctly that works out at 98 euro - 15
% for the whole thing, which is less than 0.02 euros per word - i normally work for between 6 and 12 cents depending on the job, and I told this agency my rates before I signed up with them!

Its like at car boot sales - how much?
    'a quid'
    5p?

    grrr

Of course I could be wrong, if the rate is acceptable and I do take the job on the deadline will mean me working all weekend, but I really like the look of the text, its nice and different from the legal stuff I normally do, with a little legal stuff thrown in at the end (T&Cs etc)

    Grrr

    Whinge over

Time to ring another client and ask nicely if its possible for a deadline extension (which I hate having to do) as the builders above me have been driving me crazy and I havent been sleeping properly!

    Good luck Star.

I feel like the dog's dinner this morning - I didnt sleep properly last night nor the night before, my brain just won't switch off and as a consequence I was tossing and turning all night:mad:

This morning, I have emailed my solicitor about my contract - maybe its because I feel sluggish that I cannot understand it?:rolleyes: Plus she keeps saying plus VAT on my prices yet I cannot charge VAT as I am not VAT registered so I think I need some clarification on that from HMRC. Hopefully the insurance broker will call me back today as I cannot understand their form (why does everything have to be in small print - doesnt anyone do large print?).

Phoned my boyfriend last night - he was in the pub (the same pub where he got his phone pinched last time:rolleyes:), he might be coming up from London this weekend so I told him he will have to stay in a hotel because I don't want my place to stink of fags and more importantly I don't want this wedding stuff to stink either:rolleyes: I haven't seen him for months - not since February as he cleared off skiing for the whole of March and about half of April:rolleyes: Now I am feeling very indisposed towards him which could be part of my current mood, I have no idea:confused: Mind you, he did say to the the other night that I would be useless and not make any money:mad: I'll show him - at least I will earn my money through hard graft unlike him - he is a civil servant and his dad has a fair bit of money (although to look at him, you wouldnt think so because he looks like a tramp:eek:). He constantly brags that he has over £30K sitting in his current account which I think is mad because that money would be working for me if I had it - I am beginning to think that he has a poor credit rating too because he doesnt have a credit card:rotfl:

    Sorry for whinging.

Awww Horace.... why is he your boyfriend???? He should be supporting you not saying you wont make any money!!! Make sure you prove him wrong;)

I managed to get some work done yesterday:j I've had a problem with tax credits so phoned them up already and got that sorted. My aim for today is to get enough jewellery made to take to a shop tomorrow. They sold my jewellery a few years a go so I'm hoping they'll sell it again. I need to contact someone else who has just started stocking my stuff to see how it's going. I HATE using the phone:o so I'll email.

Hope you all have a productive day;):D
